A local architect skillfully renovated the apartment to maximize space and comfort, all the while retaining original features. The sitting room has two large beautiful windows looking onto Place des Vosges. The apartment has been comfortably furnished and decorated with a mixture of European and Asian antiques and contemporary furniture of high quality, acquired exclusively from shops and galleries in the neighborhood. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the sitting room has a queen-sized sofa bed (there is also a travel crib for those in need) so that the apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults or a family with children. The full bathroom is complete with a large glassed-in shower.

An open kitchen, elegantly outfitted with a granite countertop, is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher and cooking utensils. The dining table can comfortably seat four.

Other features include a flat screen television with cable, a MacBook laptop with high speed wireless Internet and an iPod docking station. Calls to landlines are free throughout Europe and Australia, and to any phone numbers in the US and Canada.
