Made famous by the movie "Amélie," Montmartre is a wonderful area with winding streets to wander and discover. Settle in and enjoy a unique vacation unlike any you would have in a typical Paris hotel.

** Please note that the Place des Abbesses, which the apartment faces, is an lively area, with lots of street activity that can sometimes go on until late at night. Fortunately, though, if street noise ever becomes a problem, closing the soundproof windows is very effective at cutting it out – though this could be a bit inconvenient on very hot nights. There are few of these nights and there are fans in the flat. Usually noise is not a problem at all.

Also, plumbing in Paris can be a bit problematic as the buildings are very old. The apartment’s plumbing has been completely replaced and the bathroom renovated recently, but the toilet can be a little slow as the building’s pipes are, like the building, very old! You may have to flush several times.
