This luxuriously renovated two bedroom apartment with large living area is situated just to the South of Parc Monceau and off Boulevard Haussmann in the 8th arrondissement on the 4th floor (with elevator) of a Haussmann period building.

Entry to the building is through the large original wooden doors, which lead into the cobbled covered courtyard where the door to the left opens to the lift lobby and wrought iron staircase that take you to the fourth floor. (only one apartment per floor)

Through the double wooden doors of the apartment you enter the hall area with chandelier wall lighting, which leads directly through to the large double living space (50 m²) filled with light from the four large French windows that look out across the building and the street below, with glimpses of a wonderful "hôtel particulier" to the right. The living room also contains the original period white marble fireplace with trumeau mirror above and parquet flooring throughout. The room has been comfortably furnished with high quality velvet sofas, soft lamp lighting, and selective antique decorative pieces adorning the walls. For your convenience, a sofa bed is also found here for any additional guests and an antique table for formal dining. There is also an antique desk on which an Apple laptop and Bose i-Pod dock can be found, and in the main seating area, a plasma TV and multi-zone DVD player.

To the immediate right in the entrance hall behind the mirrored paneled walls is a shower room/guest cloakroom (classic chrome fittings, marble sink top) and on the left hand side of the mirrored wall is a cupboard for coats and shoes, which also contains the ironing board, iron, umbrellas for guests' use and other useful household equipment.

Another door from the hallway leads through to the compact kitchen area fitted with white cabinets and black granite worktops featuring quality appliances throughout (Miele washing machine, separate dryer, dishwasher, oven and hob, large American fridge, microwave, magimix toaster and kettle). Attention, although the flat is large, the kitchen is on the narrow side, although you will find everything you will need to cook up lovely meals during your stay. There is an adjacent breakfast nook with a table for casual dining/breakfast. Although petite by non-European standards, the kitchen is high quality and offers all of the amenities of a larger space with quality appliances and cookware.

Leading from the kitchen/dining area is a door to the corridor where the two bedrooms and main bathroom are situated. The first bedroom contains a queen sized bed and the second contains two single beds which can be joined to form a king sized double. All beds have newly upholstered headboards and valances and both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with hanging space and shelving for storage.

The newly fitted carrera marble bathroom with classic chrome fittings is situated between the two bedrooms and includes a bath with a wall mounted shower.

When you step out your door, you will find yourself in one of Paris' most stunning and desirable residential neighborhoods, within walking distance to a number of museums, markets, cafes, and other well-known sites. Foodies will love exploring the nearby Marché Lévis, one of Paris' renowned market streets, where you can browse numerous bakeries, patisseries, chocolate shops, produce stands, cheese shops, and more. In addition, the breathtaking Parc Monceau is just a short walk from the apartment, and makes the perfect place to enjoy a picnic after a morning of browsing at the market.

To soak up a bit of local history, you can visit the nearby Musée Nissim de Camondo or the Musée Jacquemart-André. Both are housed in extraordinary private mansions and offer a glimpse into the lives of Paris' bourgeois families at the turn of the 20th century.

For guests who like to shop, the apartment is situated close to the Champs-Elysées, the designer boutiques of rue Faubourg St. Honoré, and the famous Parisian department stores Printemps and Galleries Lafayette.
