St Germain Market
This is our second experience with Haven in Paris. The apartments have both been completely accurately represented on their web site. They are clean and comfortable, and while we have not needed the services of our greeter's after arrival, it is nice to know there is someone available if you need them. We also highly recommend David for transportation to the airport (see the services section of HIP website). The location of this apartment in particular is fabulous, with some of the best of Paris right outside your door or a short walk away. Why HiP? Our experience last time was great, you provide what you advertise and we don't need to worry about a thing. |

This was our second visit to the St Germain Market property and we would not have come back if it were not so nice and well maintained. The location and conveniences are excellent. The new washer/dryer is wonderful. The new washer does need a manual so it may be operated more easily.* Now, if it only had an elevator. If the apartment were mine I would make only three small changes to make it livable as a permanent residence. HiP Note: We will make sure there is a manual in the flat shortly. Why HiP? Haven In Paris is honest and easy to deal with. |

We really enjoyed our stay at the St Germain Market flat and in Paris! The apartment was wonderful; in a great location and very comfortable. The apartment guides and recommendations were all great. Anthony of "one and only" photography was terrific! Although I haven't yet seen the final pictures, he was professional, very accommodating and overall a pleasure to spend a few hours all over Paris with taking photos. Audrey, his wife, was also very helpful over email. |

We had an absolutely incredible stay. There was nothing that we would have changed- location, facilities, and quality of everything was perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our greeter, Roger, was very friendly and helpful. He was great. We didn't use any other HiP recommended service providers, but did appreciate the restaurant suggestions- we tried many of them and loved them all. The quality of cleaning was perfect. Incroyable! This was such a magical spot to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The location was ideal. Your attention to detail was impeccable and professional. I had a great stay in the St Germain Market apartment. Roger, my greeter, was excellent and friendly. The cleaner, Vincent did a great job with the place too. Location was very central and nice to have the air conditioning. The only thing I would mention is that the stairs are a bit of a hazard - but manageable. Could be tricky for older folks or someone who has problems with stairs - winding and no railing.* My experience with Haven in Paris was excellent. You are a great group. Professional and responsive. Good communication and follow up. I would definitely look to use your services again. *HiP note: we do tell clients "please be aware that the 3 flights of stairs to the flat are steep and would be a problem for someone who has trouble climbing." |

Wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the apartment St Germain Market! It really was excellent; spotlessly clean, comfortable, larger than we expected - we could live there. All of the (very nice) appliances were put to good use. The welcome flowers were a nice touch and the bottle of wine was much appreciated. Roger the greeter was also excellent. Although we were late arriving, he took his time showing and telling us all the ins and outs of the apartment and the neighborhood. Thank you again for your professionalism and the wonderful stay. |

Thank you for a fabulous week! Our stay at the St Germain market apartment was perfect. Such a great location, especially for people watching. This was our first trip to Paris and we could not have had a better time. The apartment was a cozy and comfortable home base that suited us perfectly. Loredana was great! She was very pleasant and showed us everything about the apartment when we showed up, and then called us a taxi the day of our departure. She was a great help and a nice person to be around. We also had Andy Waters pick us up at the airport and he was perfect. It helped that he is an English speaker, and he gave us a couple of great tips for our visit. It was very nice to have someone waiting at the airport specifically for us, and Andy was a welcoming presence. We are already scheming for a return to Paris, hopefully next year, and we will definitely try to rent from HiP again. Although we didn't cook it's still nice to have the added space and hominess of an apartment. It gave us the illusion of being residents! |

Thank you so much Haven in Paris, we have greatly enjoyed our stay at the St Germain market apartment. My husband and I can't say enough about how fabulous the apartment was for us. The location was just perfect. We miss Cafe Buci greatly. I desperately long for a long walk down Boulevard St. Germain, then stop at a cafe for a chilled glass of champagne. The apartment became our home away from home. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is amazing - we will return to Paris and fall in love all over again. |

Greeters were excellent, everything worked and towels/linens were of excellent quality. Appliances and instructions were excellent. Seating was comfortable and light was good for reading. Area is fun and street noise does not intrude into bedroom, a club across the street is open until at least 5 AM and is amusing to watch the people enter and exit. Some new restaurants for your recommendation: "21" at 21 Rue Mazarine - pricey and reservations absolutely required and is fish only but fish is on a par with "Jules Verne." No stars, just excellent. "Il Vicolo" at 35 Rue Mazarine - reservations necessary most nights, very friendly, blend of Italian/Franch. Very good with upscale bistro pricing. Why HiP? We had tried other agencies and yours is the best we have encountered. |

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the St Germain Market apartment. We were in a perfect location to walk to sites, restaurants, bakeries and the Metro/RER. The proximity to markets and the apartment's kitchen were also perfect when we wanted to spend a quiet night in. The apartment was also very quiet considering the windows overlooked a fairly busy street with active nightlife. The reservation process was straightforward without any hidden costs. Haven in Paris was attentive before, during and after our trip. We will definitely use Haven in Paris again when we return to Paris! Why HiP? Professional appearing website. We had a wonderful time at our apartment in the St Germain Market apartment. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The decor was suberb (we loved the exposed beams), the linens and towels plentiful and the kitchen well designed. We had a wonderful view of the street from our living room window, while a quiet and extraordinarily comfortable bedroom gave us a great night's sleep. Everything in the apartment was clearly marked in English so we had no problems learning how to work the various machines. The laptop and TV/DVD player was a great convenience and the guide books were invaluable. The flowers and croissants on arrival were a lovely touch! Moreover, the location was perfect. The neighborhood was filled with great little restaurants, boutiques (check out Solola and Kickers for great clothes and shoes), boulangeries, flower store and wine shop! It was also very conveniently located to the Metro and the Seine river, so touring was easy. We would highly, highly recommend this apartment and we miss it already! |

Our greeter Roger was very kind and generous to us on arrival with wine and flowers, even though we got him out of bed at 1:00 am due to delays in flights, he still took the time to show us any peculiarities with the apartment, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was lovely, great location, central to everything we needed to see. The Welcome Book is a must read and well put together. Thanks for an enjoyable & memorable stay in your lovely apartment. I would recommend anyone who wishes to stay in a central location in Paris to stay here. |

We had a wonderful stay at your St Germain market property. It was the perfect place and location for our stay. The girl who greeted was very friendly and even helped with our luggage and had fresh pastries waiting for us which was lovely of her. The restaurant and bakery recommendations were great and we thoroughly enjoyed them. St Germain des pres was a wonderful location and we loved the buzz and excitement of the area - when we one day hope to visit Paris we would definitely stay in the same area. We had an amazing time at the St Germain Market apartment. It was a very accomodating and luxurious apartment and was the perfect location for our stay. The host who greeted was very pleasant and even helped carry our luggage. She arranged fresh pastries and a great bottle of red which was a lovely touch. The restaurant and bakery recommendations were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed them and would recommend them too. St Germain des pres is a fantastic location, and the cafe scene has a great buzz which ads to the area. We hope to revisit Paris again one day and we would definitely stay in the same area. We would without a doubt recommend to anyone planning to visit Paris to book an apartment stay through Haven in Paris. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in February and loved it! The greeter was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The flat is very comfy and the perfect size. You can't beat the location! Tons of great restaurants and bars all right out the door. The Metro is a 5 minute walk, at most, but we rarely even used it. Would highly recommend this flat! Also, we found Andy Waters through the site, and having him taxi us back and forth from the airport was a treat! Very kind, funny, English man. |

Apartment was very comfortable and extremely well kitted out with everything one might need. The location is excellent but if people are expecting tranquil quiet this is not the place for them as the rue area can be lively at night. However, the noise level was no problem for us (and we actually don't like noise!). It's such a marvellous area and everything is handy. We've been going to that area for many years to stay and love it and the apartment is exquisitely situated. The greeting service from Amaury and his team was excellent. They are obliging and friendly and happy to help in any way. They booked a taxi for us and followed up with any queries in a prompt manner. Can't recommend them strongly enough. Your own services were excellent too in handling the booking and we appreciate your communication and goodwill. |

The quality of the greeters was perfect. Grendal and Lucas were both prompt, spoke English passably, were very helpful and flexible with arrangements, calling taxis, making suggestions. They were really ideal in every way. Everything was really great..... the laptop was a huge help, the appliances were fabulous... the beds were comfortable and had lovely clean cotton sheets. I'd be happy to stay there again, definitely. I might choose another apartment just for variety, but I would definitely recommend it to friends. It's really a great alternative to a hotel.... when we eventually moved to a hotel, I really missed the space and convenience of the apartment. |

our whole experience was absolutely wonderful - all that i hoped it could be. from receiving the guide book in advance (which added to our excitement for our vacation) to the apartment and our guide. i didn't want to leave! the kitchen was a dream to use (very rare in rentals) and made it very hard to come back to my nyc kitchen! we are already trying to work out when we can go back... thank you all at haven! Why HiP? the website was well designed and easy to use. the experience of staying with you started here for me. it also made me feel that our rental would be the same. |

This was the second property my friend and I have rented from Haven in Paris. We were very pleased with the location and the smoothness of the transaction. The apartment itself was beautiful, however, the heating system was a little weak. My friend, who is from Boston, thought so as well. I'm sure if Paris had not had such a cold January, the heating system might have been adequate. There were a few broken items in the apartment from the renters prior to us, and we were assured that this would be corrected, however, it wasn't. Other than that, the apartment was fine. (NOTE from HIP: additional heating will now be provided to clients and the items have been fixed) |

We had a really great stay at the St Germain Market apartment. The location of the apartment was awesome for food and walking and everything in the 6th. The apartment itself had absolutely everything you could want. The décor and atmosphere was awesome. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was great, loved the nespresso coffee machine. Everything was top notch. We would definitely rent with you guys again. Your service and attention to detail was great. |

We had a lovely stay in Paris. It was a shame it could not be longer. Our greeter was very pleasant, helping us with our bags up those very uneven stairs. I particularly enjoyed the food shopping part of our stay - all those lovely (but very expensive) traiteurs. We hope to stay in Paris again, but for a longer time and perhaps somewhere a bit larger. |

A great flat in a fantastic location! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location could not have been better. Walking distance to Notre Dame, The Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens and the Metro. We enjoyed the shops and cafes just a few steps from the front door. Why HiP? I was warned from friends about renting an apartment in Paris as there have been so many "bad" experiences. Haven in Paris however was the best experience I have encountered! The ease of booking procedures: any question i had was immediately answered. I was given a booklet with step by step instructions to everything(tv, Washing machine, coffee machine etc). The most important thing though was how amazing the apartment was. Far better than the pictures!! The neighborhood was exactly what i was after. Right in the mix of the best restaurants and walking distance to most things. If not, the metro was a minute away! I can't wait to go back! Why HiP? The place looked great on the internet and from the moment I emailed a question through, and received a reply virtually straight away..well it was the dedication and service that finally got me. |

I also wanted to give feedback on our visit to Paris. David and I were in the St Germain Market apartment. We were both very pleased with the apartment. The location was perfect. It was so nice being in such a vibrant neighborhood with some many amenities near. The décor was so well done. And the kitchen facilities were perfect. (I am used to a gas stove, but the electric stove top was even better!) Our greeter, Amaury, was great. He was very nice and very responsive to our questions. I would give him excellent ratings. We had a wonderful stay at the St Germain market property. The flat is really cute, and even though it is quite small, it was perfect for our family of 3! Gilles (our greeter) was very nice and polite, and his "guided tour" of the apartment was very helpful. It was a nice touch to have a bottle of wine and patisserie waiting for us as a welcome gift.
