We rented the St. Germain Luxe apartment while in Paris. I would highly recommend this apartment. The location was excellent, right across the street from a metro! After long days of sightseeing, we were thrilled to have a great place and area to come back to. Most nights we just walked to one of the local cafe's for dinner. We shopped several areas in Paris, but wound up back in our own neighborhood to make purchases. All within walking distance. Why HiP? We needed a sofa bed, wanted two bathrooms with showers, central location,visually appealing and priced reasonably. Your property seemed to have these features when shopping on line and was as described in person. |

Apartment was beautiful ... just like the photos. It was a very comfortable and quiet space. Beds were soooo comfortable after a long day of visiting the sites in Paris. Heed the representation about the stairs ... it was a climb up to the apartment. Location was superb ... approximately 25 steps to the metro stop ... very convenient. Outstanding shopping and fabulous restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. Would rent from Haven in Paris again! |

Booking was a breeze & the HiP blog is a great source of ideas and information The apartment was very well appointed with everything you could need. The kitchen was equipped to do dinner parties with high quality cooking equipment & utensils. Very comfortable and ideally located right opposite Odeon Metro in the heart of St Germain. Bonjour! Our stay in Paris was wonderful, particularly because of the location and comfort of the St Germain Luxe apartment. The stairs were challenging at first but we soon recognized the regime they provided us allowed us to eat more of that wonderful French bread and cheese, drink more wine and basically, not feel guilty for over indulging on occasion!! :) Our greeter was Didier - he was terrific and extremely helpful - we had lots of luggage and cases of wine which we had purchased during our tour of the Loire Valley. Our arrival day was hot and we were somewhat frantic by the time we arrived. However, Didier pitched in and we were up those 64 stairs a multitude of times and soon settled in. He provided excellent directions for where to find things and how they worked and was our computer tech on call when we had a problem with Internet connections! We would appreciate you passing our compliments on to him and thanking him for all his help! We really appreciated all his suggestions and he never led us astray! The apartment was perfect for our needs - plus some - excellent reference books of the area and wonderful cook book selection! Computer availability was a bonus! The only suggestive comment we might have is that the lights in the stairway did not always work at every level and we were sometimes gingerly climbing in the dark. All in all - terrific stay - 9 out of 10 - no elevator was the only drawback!! Note from HIP: We are working with the building manager to have the lights in the stairwell working on every level. This should be fixed very soon. |

We are so glad we went through HIP. The apartment was clean, tidy and the location was fabulous. So handy to restaurants, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores etc. We were also a short walk to the Seine and Louvre from where you could catch waterboats and buses. The metro was just out the front as well. The only slight disadvantage was the flight of stairs especially with luggage. And it was a little effort for my parents travelling with us.* If we don't stay in this particular appartment in the future we will definitely choose HIP again and the St Germain area. *HiP Note: We do mention to future guests in our property description that this apartment is up 3 flights of stairs and that this would be a problem for anyone with trouble walking and climbing. |

Saint Germain Luxe is a charming apartment in a great location. Breeze of a walk to many of our favorite areas (Ile St. Louis & Latin Quarter) and the metro just out front made the rest of Paris easily accessible. The apartment was clean, updated yet still "Parisian" and fully equipped (we cooked in one night). We had a teenager with us and the second bathroom was a MUST. Our greeter, Jeanne, was excellent--on time, helpful, accommodating, friendly. Our favorite place to eat and drink was right across the street on a pedestrian only alleyway. Le Pub and Le Relais Odeon were excellent. Why HiP? In planning a trip to Paris as a graduation gift for our niece, I was scouring the internet for a place. Since we were coming in August, I knew I wanted A/C--just in case. And we needed 2 bd/2bth. HIP had some selections that fit the bill, had great pix and were very responsive to my questions. |

Our stay in Paris & dealings with all of you could not have been more enjoyable! Merci - merci for everything. Jeanne, our greeter, was lovely & very helpful & accommodating. The decor in the flat was gorgeous (& I'm an interior decorator who appreciates beautiful surroundings). The neighborhood was so lovely & safe - a little bit noisy on the weekend & Bastille Day, but nothing too disturbing after midnight. All is all, we were extremely comfortable & very pleased. Hated to leave for a hotel & will definitely be renting again the next time we are in France or Italy. Again, we thank you for everything. |

Thank you Haven in Paris for our wonderful stay in St Germain Luxe whilst in the beautiful city of Paris. We have rented apartment accommodation in Paris previously, however your property was far superior. The apartment was spacious, light and clean and contained everything that we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. From the well stocked kitchen, the ample supply of fluffy towels through to books and computer - everything had been thought of. In fact I would have to say that it was probably the best apartment accommodation that we have stayed in based on the amenities provided. Jeanne our greeter was also lovely. She met us promptly as agreed and efficiently arranged our airport transfer when requested. We would have no hesitation in recommending HIP and will certainly book with you next time we are traveling to Paris. Why HiP? Haven in Paris has a wonderful website which is easy to use and has a great number of photos and information to help choose the right property. The property location was perfect and appeared on the website to be of the standard that we were looking for. The booking process was quick and efficient and any questions were quickly answered. The apartment was in an ideal location and felt very comfortable and inviting. Jeanne, our greeter was so helpful and accomodating. Absolutely everything about the experience was first class--from the correspondence received from the Haven In Paris team before we left through to the quality of the apartment itself and to our greeter, Jeanne. The apartment was beautiful. Very comfortable, stylishly decorated and every possible convenience had been thought of. It felt like a wonderful combination of your own home and a 5-star hotel. I would need a new word for fabulous to describe the St. .Germain Luxe property. Absolutely wonderful experience. Jeanne was a perfectly proper greeter. The flat was impeccable when we arrived. Whoever cleans it and fixes it up does a thorough and swell job. He/she even ligns-up the books according to their height. Our stay at the St. Germain Luxe property far exceeded our expectations. Our Christmas vacation was perfect. We were four adults and two children and there was more than enough room for all of us. We felt at home in the apartment. Our greeter was fantastic and got us quickly acclimated with the neighborhood and all of the amenities of the apartment. There are so many things to do in walking distance from the apartment and the recommended restaurants were wonderful as well. We all were so happy with Haven in Paris. LOVED this apartment! Everything you need to live very enjoyably and be a part of Parisian life for a stint. We found the reservation process incredibly easy and were impressed with all of the information we received about the property in advance (very thorough & helpful). The apartment was very clean, well organized and well appointed. Beautiful little touches (bedding, drapes, upholstery, chandeliers) very comfortable and well stocked. The location is completely outrageous! Easy walks to wonderful places (Notre Dame, The Louvre, etc.) and the Odeon Metro stop right outside the door, wonderful neighborhood, crépe stand on the block - every thing you could want. We appreciated the Audrey Hepburn DVD collection after long days of walking and sightseeing. We did some of our own cooking and found everything we needed and had a wonderful time shopping for groceries. Eric Kayser Boulanger - OH MY!! We took great joy in walking up to our blue door (our home for a week). Our greeter was a delight and very helpful throughout our stay. There are some(three flights) charming stairs to get to the apartment, but with a bit of caution, we navigated them and appreciated their contribution in keeping our daily indulgence in croissants in check. We were all sad to move back into our suitcases and head home. We hope to return to "our apartment" on the Blvd. in coming years! Why HiP? I found HiP on Twitter & Facebook. After following the blog for a while and viewing and reviewing the properties, I knew this was the right group to book with. The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described, beautiful high ceilings , lovely furnishings, very spacious. We will never stay in a hotel again in Paris for more than a couple of days. The location is absolutely fantastic - metro station right outside ,lots of action, cafes ,bistros, shopping right there a 10 minute walk to the Seine ,Louvre, Palais Royal , Bon Marche , Latin Quarter and many other atractions .Didier our greeter was great !Flat was spotless when we arrived . The St.-Germain Luxe apartment is beautiful, with great modern touches and a very Parisian feel. Lots of great, fun stuff close at hand, from restaurants around the corner to the Jardin Luxembourg a short walk. Plus, the metro is right in front as a gateway to the city. Best of all, the Haven in Paris team was as prompt, professional, and friendly as we could have hoped. Everything and everyone was very professional--all on time, with great consideration and genuine kindness. We spent two weeks in Paris in this wonderful apartment. Our greeter and check-out people (Jeanne and Didier) were friendly and very helpful giving recommendations and offering to help with anything we needed. We wanted to walk most places and it was perfectly located for that being within 15-20 minutes of most of the major sites. It is also directly next to a metro stop. There are many very good restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was spotless and exactly as pictured on the website, perfect condition. The information book in the apartment is very helpful to have. The Haven in Paris staff both in Paris and online were very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. We hope to be able to make use of one of your apartments again in the next couple of years. Why HiP? Your website is very well done which gives confidence in your "product" and it seemed that we were sort of working with a US company (this may not actually be true) and got to pay by credit card in US dollars. |

Our trip to Paris was simply magical! The St. Germain apartment was lovely, comfortable, secure and fully equipped. It was glorious to open windows over St. Germain Blvd and take in the incredible weather and sounds of the city. Apartment is steps away from Odeon metro stop, which was most handy. The location is also right in the heart of Paris with fantastic restaurants, markets, shops, etc close by. Greatly appreciated the Wifi and free calls to US - used both extensively. Andy Waters picked us up at the airport and was a complete ray of sunshine. Gave us some chuckles and great tips on our way into city. Victoria who assisted with apartment preparation for us was a complete doll. Didier met us for our check-out. He was thorough and a delight to chat with. All in all, your team was great and most helpful to first time visitors! We did 3 tours with Context (contexttravel.com)- super job and an appreciated referral. We also took two cooking classes with La Cuisine Paris (www.lacuisieparis.com). You should consider referrals to them - classes were also a highlight and within walking distance from apartment. Lastly, we used Fat Tire Bikes for a D-Day tour. Incredible - again a highlight. Your recommendations were fantastic and so helpful for me as a first time visitor to Paris (actually first time to leave the US). Apartment was all I expected (and I have high expectations). Our stay at St. Germain Luxe was marvelous- the apartment was perfectly equipped with all gadgets in fine working order, making it a perfectly liveable home base- a real "haven" for relaxation. The description of the apartment and the photos barely do it justice. The location was such that we took no metros or cabs- walked everywhere we wanted to go happily. Didier was a fantastic host- made us feel welcome and supported throughout. We would recommend this apartment and HIP highly to anyone- the best vacation rental experience we have ever had(and we have actually done quite a few). Why HiP? Maine is great but I must tell you what you have in Paris is spectacular. The apartment was simply wonderful for a family of 4. First the location. Each day began with a run through the Tuilleries with a visit to the local produce guy on the way back. Everything anyone could want for dinner or comfort was on hand. We walked everywhere--one cab when it began to rain but otherwise we were able to cover every site and area we wanted on foot. I ate like whatever and lost 5 pounds! As for Didier ( our greeter), what a delight--he gave us practical advice on the area and a pound of coffee to die for. A very comfortable fit. You should be very proud of what you have done. I am in a service business and there is nothing like effusive customers and you have that with us. |

What a wonderful find, this has truly been a "haven in Paris" We have felt very comfortable and very welcomed to this beautiful apartment and magical city. We enjoyed "little touches" from the bottle of wine and bouquet of flowers to the more practical things like the amazing kitchen, washing machine, and internet. Plus, thank you so much for the use of the telephone. Sharing the experience with family in Australia doubled the pleasure of it for us. We also really loved the use of the bathrobes, although my husband would have appreciated a slightly larger one! We had a lovely stay in Paris at this beautiful flat. All our needs were met. It's close to everything. Each day we set out to explore and had some fun adventures. The Saint Germain Luxe property was perfect for us (2 couples, late 50's, early 60's). The layout works really well, affording privacy and plenty of living space for all. I was very impressed by the quality of the linens, furniture, stemware, dishes, towels, etc. and the overall attention to detail of the property. I felt like I was staying in a chic Parisian's personal home, not in a rental! Loved our greeter, the travel guides, beautiful books, flowers, coffee, wine and the washer/dryer, too. So thoughtful! The location is the best, you can walk to everything! There's a really fantastic take-out place just outside the front door (yummy sandwiches, quiche and cookies), a fun bistro on the corner, as well as the lively Odeon metro stop and an ATM. I loved having the imac, too! That was a real bonus, as it enabled us to check our email, and blog about our trip. Personally, I think apartments are the only way to go, having rented quite a few over the years. Staying in an apartment provides a much broader and richer travel experience and you feel a wee bit like a local, even if it's just for 10 days! I can't wait to go back! Why HiP? I love you website! It's so easy to navigate, very informative and it has tons of beautiful, artistic photos that portrait the apartment perfectly. The HIP blog is a fantastic resource, that I still enjoy reading everyday. Our family of 5 made the best of the Iceland volcanic dust situation and traveled to Paris from London at short notice. The St Germain apartment is well appointed and maintained. The little touches and inclusions like the washing powder, glad wrap, medical kit and internet saved us a lot of time. The noise from Blvd St Germain is apparent but ear plugs fixed this problem even for our 3 teenager children. The apartment was beautiful. The pictures are wonderful but don't do the apartment justice. Location was awesome. We felt as if we truly had a "home" in Paris for a week. Great for a family-good space, especially in the kitchen. It was nice to have recommendations for restaurants in the apt guide. A truly lovely apartment! We have determined that when we visit Paris renting an apartment (this one of course) is the way to go! Being able to walk out the door and let Paris take us away was a fantastic experience. We adored all the amazing cafes, shops, markets and sights and sounds that were right outside the door. We had such a wonderful time in Paris, and much of it was due to the great apartment we rented. We stayed in the St. Germain Luxe property, which was a fully stocked, comfortable and luxurious two bedroom/two bathroom apartment, which met the needs of our family of five perfectly. We were met at the airport by Michael, one of the recommended drivers, who was very prompt and courteous. Jeanne was our greeter, who arrived at exactly the same moment we did at the apartment, carrying roses and a lovely bottle of wine for us. She explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us the keys. She also gave us some recommendations about where to go in the neighborhood. We took a private food tour with Context Tours which was a highlight of our trip. Meg showed us the ins and outs of cheese shops, bakeries, chocolate shops, etc, with lots of tastings and fun information. Highly recommended! The location of the apartment is directly in front of the Odeon Metro Stop as well as a taxi stand, so transportation is easy from there. The neighborhood itself is full of wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and chocolate shops, as well as many other stores. We had a wonderful week and would recommend Haven in Paris to everyone! |

Location, apartment (my wife honestly would like to buy it!), contents, greeter, cleaning staff and you guys stateside were very, very courteous and professional. We will never stay in a hotel again when going to Paris. I encourage you to expand your product to other cities. |

Thank you for sharing this lovely apartment with us. We loved the location and found we could comfortably walk everywhere, weather permitting. It was quite cold a couple of days during our stay. The New Year fireworks did not compare with that of Sydney but the atmosphere made up for the lack of fireworks dazzle. Our family was very comfortable in the apartment and found it extremely well appointed. The amount of cooking utensils, books and videos in the apartment kept everyone happy. |

St. Germain Luxe exceeded my expectations. I knew enough about Paris to know it was in an excellent location, and I could tell from the website that the apartment looked nice. However what really impressed me was that the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen had every gadget we wanted, the computer worked perfectly, the hairdryers were excellent, umbrellas were supplied - you name it, it was taken care of. These little things might sound insignificant but they add up when little by little you notice that everything is right. Also, the apartment was impeccably clean and the beds were fabulously comfortable. I have already started to make plans for a return visit and this will be the apartment I rent. Why HiP? I found HIP on the internet. It was the professional nature of the website, the excellent photographs and the user comments that convinced me to choose HIP. |

HIP is one of the best rentals I have rented in years. The staff at HIP are very informative and helpful on anything you need for your vacation. I was a little worried from other rentals I had rented form other VRBO's that I was not satisfied with. Our apartment was so well equiped with everything from kitchen, bath, bedroom and of course computer, bigscreen TV, etc...HIP has check all their boxes in my opinion. Easy to meet the greeter and if we needed anything Jeanne would call back instantly. I couldn't have stayed at a better place location wise (easy to get around the city), close to markets for food, restaurants, Metro, shopping. Even our driver Andy thinks highly of HIP. Location – so central to so many places of interest – we walked almost everywhere Comfort : beds very good, air conditioning a life saver in the hot weather, movies at night on cable TV , well equipped. You have had compliments on this before but really you have thought of everything – so organized and easy. Great service – on line booking so straight forward, instructions for apartment perfectly detailed, links to car service, initial on site meeting very helpful for jet lagged” brains ! Cleaning staff terrific ! My husband, myself and our 8 year old son have made memories here to last a life time. Our family loved our stay in the “HIP”. It is very well furnished and equipped. The neighborhood is gorgeous and we enjoyed shopping at the covered market and dining at several of the cafes in the area. One big thrill was to see President Obama’s motorcars race right by our apartment on his way back from Normandy. We loved the location -- literally could be on the metro in minutes. Loved being so close to rue de Buci and rue St. Andre des Arts. We walked to the Notre Dame one evening. We loved the apartment -- it was so pretty and decorated so nicely. It had everything we needed. We've stayed at rue Clery but while this was a bit smaller, we preferred the location (still loved Clery though -it is a different experience). Being in Paris will always be one of my favorite things. Don't know when my next trip will be --- but I hope to stay with HIP. |

The location is one in a million. On top of that, it's a spacious, window filled, 400 year old beamed apartment in the heart of St. Germain. The bedding has wonderful linens that are beautifully pressed. The upholstery and curtains are done in Tricia Guild fabrics. It's a magical place to stay! |

We are home now and have fond memories of our time in France. One highlight was Paris and our apartment on the Carrefour de l'Odéon. It was just perfect. Jeanne did a wonderful job of welcoming us with wine and flowers. She also arranged for a housekeeper after the first week. The appointments in the apartment are amazing. We had a local chef come in and cook with/for us--there were eight for dinner and we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return. Why HiP? Brilliant service, very professional, friendly and prompt. The property was simply perfect, very stylish, clean and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations even though the web site does well to describe and highlight the apartment. I would add that the stairs to the apartment are quite steep so be careful not to have to many french reds! We also used the driver service to and from the airport which was excellent. Haven In Paris made our Christmas in Paris a perfect one! First, our greeter, Jeanne, gave us a warm welcome after a long plane ride. She showed us a VERY clean apartment! She also explained to us how the appliances work and nearby restaurants/sights. The "book" that she handed us had all the helpful details. The flowers and the bottle of wine added an extra splendid touch! The apartment location is great. The bedrooms are nice-sized, kitchen is well-stocked, and we had an abundant supply of sumptuous towels! Also, having internet access and unlimited calls to the U.S. is a MAJOR PLUS! The only trouble we had was we could not play our iPod so we called Jeanne in the morning and that afternoon, someone came and showed us what to do. On a scale of 1 to 10, our overall experience with Haven in Paris is a perfect 10!! We look forward to booking another trip to Paris in 2010 with HIP and I'm hoping that this apartment will be available! |

We had a wonderful time in Paris, thanks in large part to the wonderful apartment - perfect locations, perfect understated yet luxurious style. Everything we could have needed was anticipated and supplied - right down to a charger for our iPhones! Incroyable! Our greeter was ill but her charming son showed us the apartment, and she made sure to check in with us in person during our visit to be sure we were happy. She even called the cab company for us to confirm our ride back to the airport. I cannot say how great this apartment was, and I've become a one person ad agency for you here in Vermont already! I have every intention of working my way right through your entire list of properties - your taste is amazing, and it was better than a hotel in every way! |

We shared the apartment with our daughter, son-in-law and their two girls and we all agreed it was an absolute gem. Our granddaughters summed it up in a word 'cool'. The position is central and lively, the metro is just across the road. There are many good cafes and restaurants close by and markets and food stores are within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is really charming with its exposed beams and woodwork and it is exceptionally well appointed. Nothing has been overlooked right down to umbrellas and a small shopping cart. The stairs presented an early challenge for we seniors, but we were all racing up them by the end of the stay. Would we return and would we recommend? Yes indeed we would. Why HiP? We were referred by a travel agent to Rosie Miller with French Experience in Melbourne, Australia and we found her and her colleagues extremely pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend them. |

Then to arrive to a fantastic apartment with the same attention to detail, great location and gorgeous decor made our stay in Paris wonderful. We loved all the books, the completely stocked kitchen and very mod Parisian decor. Lynn greeted us on arrival and although she had a train to catch she was more that willing to stay and answer all of our questions until we were satisfied and comfortable with everything. This two bedroom apartment in the heart of Paris was fabulous and far exceeded our expectations! We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of this vacation rental! Located in a perfect and central location in the Left Bank, it is decorated in excellent taste, along with every comfort of home. It literally was a "Haven in Paris," and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Paris. We had a wonderful stay at the St Germain Luxe property. The apartment was everything Haven in Paris said it was- and more. It was spacious, light and airy, and spotless when we arrived. We appreciated all the thoughtful details such as fresh flowers, DVDs, the computer, and ability to call the U.S. We interacted with both greeters, Lynn and Jeanne, and found them both helpful and professional. We loved the location as well- it is a busy area- but with access to great markets, shopping, and restaurants. Metro access could not be better as it is right outside the door of the apartment. Why HiP? We wanted to stay in St Germain and researched many apartments in the area. This apartment seemed to be one of the nicest, and we were happy to find when we arrived that it, indeed, was! |

Overall we loved the apartment and it worked very well for us. Very well equipped and excellent location with nice view of St. Germain Blvd. Our two greeters were excellent and we got very prompt service when we had an electrical problem. We really enjoyed our time in Paris, and the apartment was great. We felt the location was perfect and the apartment was very comfortable and very well equipped, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Lynn did a good job in greeting us and orienting us to the apartment (she also was quickly responsive when we emailed or called her with a couple of questions). I also wanted to tell you that we have travelled extensively and have rather high expectations. We rented a house previously in Provence and, although it was quite nice, it was not equipped or furnished as perfectly as the St Germain apartment. We are very glad we chose the apartment over a hotel, especially for the 4 of us, and we certainly felt that the apartment rivaled any fine hotel that we would have stayed at and was quite good value for the 4 of us. Having the included phone calls and internet was also a nice touch. Thank you again. We had a truly great time and, will definitely stay with you again. My kids are now truly in love with Paris so I am sure we will be back. |

Ideal location, the kids loved Starbucks and the sweets vendor on the corner. Great food shops and shopping nearby and the Luxembourg gardens are beautiful Paris as usual was wonderful, the weather was unpredictable but could not put a damper on this lovely place. Our greeter was punctual, professional and friendly. Everything was as represented on your detailed web site, and we had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay,with no surprises. Really, we were very very happy with what we received and could find nothing that we think needs improvement. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our recent one week stay (too short!) in the St. Germain Luxe apartment in Paris was amazing. Location, view, comfort, amenities were splendid. Loved the hustle and bustle down on St Germain all day and night. Ate most of our dinners in, with fresh items from the local markets and shops. The BEST! Thoroughly enjoyed H.I.P. services, utilized for the second time now (stayed in Ecoles last year, which we also really liked!). Assistance facilitating getting to and from the airport and the property, as well as all the recommendations for places to visit, eat, exercise, etc all much appreciated. Your greeters have all been wonderful...very attentive and helpful. Free calls to the U.S. are SUCH a nice perk....thank you! Flowers and wine on arrival are a very sweet touch as well. We love H.I.P. and will be back again, no doubt!! |

This is the second time we have rented a property in Paris from Erica and her team. We were disappointed that the apartment we rented in 2007 was not available when we visited in 2008 but Erica recommended the St. Germain Luxe apartment and we were VERY pleased with the apartment. First class everything, clean, comfortable, and perfectly appointed and Lynn (our greeter and contact while there) was an absolute gem. We unfortunately spent the first four days in Paris without our luggage as it was lost by the airline and Lynn went way above and beyond to help us in our communication with the Airline and delivery service. It is so comforting knowing there is someone you can call for help or simply to ask a quick question of. The location of St. Germain is perfect and convenient to everything we did in Paris. We would rent it again in an instant. There were four of us and each couple had a spacious bedroom and our own bathroom. The common areas of the kitchen/dining and living room are equipped perfectly. Plenty of storage in each bedroom, I must add. Erica, your combination of product and service is commendable… I can’t imagine visiting Paris and not using Haven in Paris. We can’t wait to return soon! We trust Erica and her team completely. Thank you so much to everyone. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St Germain apartment. The location is superb. It saved us huge amounts of commuting time. We barely used the Metro at all, being able to walk to almost anything we wanted to see or do. The staff who greeted us and checked us out were truly excellent. The greeter took the time to explain how to work the various appliances and to give us a quick orientation to the neighborhood. Out check-out person noticed that we were waiting down below on the sidewalk quite a long time (20 minutes) and she called Elysee cars to be sure they were coming. We were greatly impressed with that kindness---because we were getting a little worried. The apartment is gorgeous. We would love to do this again. There is just no comparison to a hotel. We thought the apt. was beautiful and comfortable. The booklet with directions on how to use all the appliances, where to shop, etc, was great, and everything was easy to use. The apartment was very quiet. Lynne (our greeter) was very nice. She very kindly ordered a cab to the airport for us when we left. Fabulous location. Excellent neighborhood. Monoprix and Champion grocery provided everything we could need. The apartment had everything in it we could need. It was great to come home at night to enjoy cooking the fresh ingredients we bought. We cooked great meals several nights and omelettes for breakfast one morning. An apartment is the only way to go for a family especially with the cost of eating out in Paris. You can't beat the location and the amenities provided were great. We were delighted to have access to a computer and TV/DVD. We watched several of the movies provided. Elysee cars was there to pick us up & take us back on time. Both Lynn and Jeanne were pleasant. The apartment was spotless. Our sons came from college with their dirty laundry and were happy to have a place to wash it! The pictures on the web matched the apartment! Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. Our stay was excellent. We would be happy to rent a place through Haven in Paris again. I've already told several friends in the expat community here about your company. Why HiP? Found the apartment on VRBO. Visa much easier than a bank transfer. |

This was a first class experience all the way from making the reservation to the final checkout. The apartment is, in my opinion, located at one of the best spots to easily see most of central Paris. With the Odeon Metro stop literally at the front door, we could easily jump on the Metro to anywhere in the city. But best of all, most of the must-see sites such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter are all within a five or ten minute walk. Abundant shopping and eating opportunities are also just a few steps from the front door of the apartment. The apartment itself is a charming combination of old and new. The old wood structural supports dating from the days of Monsieur Haussmann have been exposed and integrated into the modernized apartment space. Modern appliances and furnishings together with the old structural details provide the apartment with a delightful combination of 19th century hominess and 21st century sleekness and efficiency. We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment and will not hesitate to ask for the same place on our next visit to Paris. Why HiP? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return to this apartment. Lynn, (our greeter) was very professional, responsive and we appreciated her efforts all around. She made the stay stress-free. This apartment was the best equipped, most comfortable, most modern apartment I've stayed in in Paris. Light, airy and spacious as well--pluses in a big city that gets a lot of rain. I appreciated things like a grocery cart, a drying rack, hangers (lots), sharp knives, good pots, scissors, and some basics like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper--even olive oil and red wine vinegar. This kind of service is exceptional. The, free unlimited, International, phone service was a big plus because we were doing business in Europe and had some problems with Skype. So was the iMac. We had our own laptops for business reasons, but we used the iMac for internet research and for streaming radio. I feel like we got exceptional value for the cost of the apartment. Thanks for the DVD We know the location well, because we've stayed several times in the 6th, and of course, we loved being in the heart of Paris and close to the Jardin de Luxembourg. This is the first time, though, I've gone to the cinema in Paris--since it literally was on our doorstep! Thanks to all of you for a fine job. I hope we can enjoy the pleasure of staying with Haven in Paris again, quite soon. |
