Dear Vieri & Rebecca, Thank you for a wonderful week here at Il Piaggione. We have had a fabulous week here in your beautiful villa, enjoying the great view of the Tuscan landscape and your tasteful interior. Your hospitality and helpfulness and hospitality have been overwhelming and we really enjoyed your cooking and wine tasting as well. All in all Il Piaggione turned out to provide the very best surroundings for a 60th birthday celebration and happy holiday for three families, including 5 children. Hopefully we haven't seen these wonderful vineyards and olive trees for the last time! Best regards from all of us! |

We could not have been more pleased. We adored the place and Vieri, and were only sorry we didn't stay longer, visit his vineyard and enjoy a meal with him and Rebecca. Being a party of ten (with two children ages 4 and 1) made things a bit challenging with respect tot he foregoing. I have already recommended you to several friends interested in renting a villa and I thank you and Vieri so very much in advance. |

We slowed down, opened our hearts, unshuttered our eyes & minds and soaked in all that is glorious about Tuscany. Undulating fields of sunflowers, medieval hill towns and all the little things that make life worth living. Your home is bellissimo; Gus says your food was buonissimo (we all agree!) P.S. We have a new friend in Tuscany. You have new friends in Austin and Memphis! |

Owner arrived shortly after we did and gave us tour and fully explained useage of machines. He made reservation for us in wonderful local outdoor restaurant...which was exceptional...he also provided directions to some in group which proved invaluable in visiting towns and cities. Why HiP? It was house in area we wanted...with bed and bathrooms required...will pool...would love to return some early Oct. |

A 50th wedding anniversary celebration, 3 generations together and a never to be forgotten family holiday. It is hard to say good bye to Villa Il Piaggione, the surrounding countryside and all its beauty. We loved the villa and all its beautiful spaces. We will never enjoy a more spectacular space and the affectionate cat was an unexpected, added attraction. From our hearts, thank you!! |

We enjoyed every beautiful space in the magnificent villa. It is lavishly equipped for all our needs. The pool is truly a blessing and all of usenjoyed it many times each day. Hard to leave the premises for sight seeing etc. but we have done our best. The resident cat made us feel at home and showed us great affection whenever we were around. I'm sure we will be in touch. We each send out thanks for an extraordinary stay in Tuscany. |

We enjoyed the sunshine in the morning, the sunsets in the evening, the flowers and the scent of rosemary and sage. Your hospitality was endless. We truly enjoyed the visit to your winery and the beautiful meal, the tour of the glass factory, the restaurant suggestions, and of course the seemingly endless directions and Tuscan history that you provided. We've enjoyed a fantastic stay in a place of outstanding beauty and tranquility. The location has been perfect, allowing us to explore the better known Tuscan sights as well as discover the more hidden gems. We will never forget two delectable evenings spent in Scorgiano. Sergio wins our vote as Italy s most charming and convivial waiter. Thanks, our holiday was brilliant! Other members of my group add: This house could not have been more perfect for celebrating my mother's 50th birthday. Vieri's recommendation of Franco's restaurant in Colle was much appreciated - he provided an amazing meal for 30 people. Most of all we just loved the house. Being in the house, Using the house. It may not be Neutra but it is a really beautiful piece of modern architecture. That gave us REAL pleasure - as did the pool and the view of the hills. We would love to come back again one day. In the meantime, thank you so much. I'd like to second what Vanessa has written - it has been a memorable holiday, made so by this amazing house. A very special place. Thank you. |

Please do not hesitate to inform us when you start planning your trip. My son is talking about the olive harvesting in November, it seems like you have given him a passion! My daughter is dreaming about the Italian fashion and Uwe and I miss the beautiful landscape and enjoyable meals and not the least nice walks! We will certainly come back. |
