Haven in Paris should be called Heaven in Paris! The apartment was exactly as showed on the website and in real even better. The location near Places des Voges is outstanding. Direct metro connection from Gare du Nord and in the place to be or hot spot of Paris. Experience Paris like a Parisian. In Dutch we have a saying: "Living like God in France". We came to Paris for our honeymoon and have found the apartment the perfect location to absorb ourselves into this most romantic city. The Marais itself is extremely lively with far too many food choices! We need another few weeks here! We were surprised by the great space in the apartment. It was bigger than we imagined. Nothing can compare to this apartment. I was surprised and thankful for how well equipped the kitchen--and whole flat--was. Never did I expect such good, sharp knives! We stayed in place des vosges apartment in autumn 2011 and have nothing but praise for all aspects of this property! a quality renovation, capable and precise greeter, loads and loads of beautiful linen and towels (heaven)and the cleaning after the first week was well beyond our expectation. security was excellent and the location, right in the centre of restaurants,galleries,shops! hope the word about this apartment does not get around as we do not want to miss out on our next holiday. a beautiful bunch of roses (lasted 2 weeks) and a good year bottle of wine rounded of a very pleasant arrival. thank you haven in paris and roger and loredana. The apartment at Place Des Vosges is wonderful. It is modern, very clean and well organized. The kitchen has everything you need, and not a single thing more; there is no clutter. It felt bigger than it is because it is bright, with high ceilings and well-thought-out layout and storage. The location is great, close to markets (the Sunday market was fabulous!), restaurants and the metro. Roger, our greeter, is terrific; he gave us a lot of information and was very helpful. We've already recommended Haven in Paris to friends. |

We have been to Paris before but staying in an apartment was a completely new experience. What a joy to buy butter, eggs, vegetables, and fruits in the Bastille market! PDV was one of 4 Paris apartments we rented in May-July 2011, 2 of which were HIP apartments. The HIP apts. were comfortable and equipped to a high standard. Appliances in both HIP apartments was of a very high standard.But the PDV apartment was a bit short of oven dishes for the excellent stove. Place des Vosges is a personal favorite area for us and very well located for Metro and bus alternatives, with a wide choice of bistros and restaurants and boutique shopping outlets nearby. Note from HiP: Thank you for letting us know that Place des Vosges is short of oven dishes. We will be sure to have more in place for future rentals! Why HiP? Our choice was influenced by the provision of Apple laptop computers. This was particularly welcome and would probably tip us in favor of HIP when next renting in Paris. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. In a perfect spot, closet to everything, and it was lovely being so close to the park. There are so many cafes nearby and the patisserie on the corner is superb! Our thanks to Loredana who gave us a lovely welcome (and surprised me with a beautiful cake on my birthday). We loved our apartment,it was lovely and bright, with modern and appliances, and in a fantastic position, close to lots of shops, cafes and transport. We were greeted by the lovely Loridana who made us feel very welcome,showed us how everything worked and made lots of recommendations for cafes, shopping etc. The apartment was very clean, there was plenty of hot water and lots of fluffy white towels. It was a real bonus having a washing machine and clothes dryer. We would stay here again. Why HiP? I was very impressed by their quick responses to my emails whenever I had a question and had also read some good reviews. |

I really enjoyed my time at the Place des Vosges apartment. I had previously stayed at the Elzevir apartment twice and liked it there as well. As always, my experience with Haven in Paris was an entirely positive one. The greeter, Roger, was a great guy. He was very friendly, and while I didn't need to contact him during my stay, I knew he was available if need be. The property was very clean upon my arrival, and was cleaned once by arrangement during my stay. I didn't see the cleaners so the process was very unobtrusive. Although compact, the apartment had almost everything you could wish for during an extended stay (I was there for 18 days). I appreciated all the clean towels. The dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were all in as new condition, and it makes a real difference to be able to do the occasional load of washing. The bed was comfortable and the temperature of the apartment perfect. The weather in Paris was very temperate for mid-winter which made exploring the area easy and fun. The location was ideal - the 3ème and 4ème arrondisements are hard to beat in my book - and the apartment was a great base for exploring the quartier. I am a great fan of the Vélib bike system and used it most days to get around; people shouldn't be put off from trying it, it is a great way to see more of Paris and get a bit of incidental exercise. The "manual" in the apartment was also useful. I followed some of its tips for shops in the area - principally the boucherie and patisserie, both on rue du Pas de la Mule. Both were good recommendations. |

Place des Vosges apartment was wonderfully located in Le Marais, and the apartment itself was perfect. Exactly as pictured and described, the apartment was spotless and the service was impeccable. The greeter, Loredana, was wonderfully helpful and very friendly. Without her services, there could have been some frustrations. Her personal touch made it a magnificent experience. I can attest that there were advantages to being in Paris during a cold week in January. I had complete access to museums with few people! Why HiP? It was a lucky internet find! I wanted to add a sincere "thanks" for the experience. The apartment was perfect - location, furnishings and cleanliness. Although I prefer to stay in the Champs du Mar area, this was the only apt I could find because we booked late. It was a really nice find though....relatively quiet neighborhood and a very clean apt. The bedroom is small- only a bed can fit but it wasn't a problem for us as we only used it for sleeping. Kitchen and the apt in general, was well equipped. Sleep sofa was extremely confortable-high end type with foam mattress. Easy to open and close. Downside to apt: telephone service and wireless service was spotty. When wireless was down, we could plug the laptop directly with the ethernet cord but it didn't allow me to use my IPAD (with WIFI). Telephone service just didn't work most of the time at night when we wanted to call home. Interior of building (hallways) showed signs of construction. There seemed to be some construction dust and hanging wires. Maybe cable/internet/tv wires, not sure. Smell of restaurant next door permiated the entranceway as you walk in. But, no food smell in the apt. Overall, very nice experience, great little apartment-close to metro stops and shops, food etc. Note from HIP: Due to heavy snows in December, many of the phone and internet service providers throughout Paris experienced some difficulty. The construction in the building is in the finishing stages and should be wrapped up shortly. |

Lovely accommodations. Immaculately clean and actually prettier than the internet photos convey. Convenient to metro lines leading to major attractions. Loredana was efficient and most accommodating to our needs. Best of all was the warmth of a "home away from home"... a comfortable place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Plus the wonderful opportunity to try ones hand at preparing a meal after shopping the local produce markets. Why HiP? We were thoroughly pleased with the HIP service, well run, most efficient. I would like to thank you for the services. Since the beginning when I was still in doubt about a hotel or a flat, the team was very patient, answered all my questions quickly and always very friendly. My sisters and I had a wonderful time on the Place des Vosges property. The apartment is a bit small, but very cozy and extremely functional. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great, the kitchen has everything we needed and the location. Well, just one word: perfect! Nice view from the Place des Vosges, near many nice cafes, restaurants, metros, grocery stores (G20 - near St. Paul metro and Franprix near the Chemin Vert station), bakeries and still quiet enough during the night. The café right in front of it (Café Hugo) is lovely; I ate one of the best duck dishes there! Our greeter, Roger, was great, friendly, funny and helpful, talked about the life in Paris and even a bit about Italy (our next stop). Vincent, the person who cleaned the apartment, was also very friendly and kind, and did an excellent job there. |

We had a great time while at the apartment. The Marais district was the perfect place for us to have our home base, we enjoyed the fabulous shopping and eating just blocks away from our place and the convenience of the Metro stations for when we ventured further out into the city. The apartment was cozy, clean and comfortable. Laurence, our greeter, was very helpful in all aspects, it was comforting to know we had a "go-to" person if we had any questions or problems. Eva was an absolutely wonderful greeter and helped me get oriented with the apartment and the neighborhood, and I've been walking all over the city seeing the sights - it is so beautiful here. This is a lovely part of the city to stay in, and the apartment comes with great amenities, especially the laptop and telephone services included, maps and guidebooks. Thanks for being so thoughtful to a traveler's needs. It is wonderful to feel like I have a little home away from home, and can cook my own meals and live more as a local than a tourist! The nice extra touches - a bottle of wine, fresh baguette, and fresh flowers really added warmth to my welcome and set your company apart... I will definitely rent from you again. |

Three friends and I took a girls trip to Paris in December. We loved everything about this apartment. The four of us fit very happily into the space and we never felt cramped. Both the bathroom and the kitchen was modern, clean and easy to use. Everything was so clean, far beyond anything I have experienced in even the nicest hotels. We came love the view out of our windows (not blocked by the construction going on in the building when we stayed in December) and we spent many happy evenings as "locals" at Cafe Hugo. We felt right at home; safe, comfortable and well cared for by the Paris staff. I can't imagine staying in Paris any other way. Every interaction that I had with the Haven in Paris staff was professional, friendly and kind. Bravi! Why HiP? I loved the properties that I saw on the website. We had a great stay in Paris, loved the apartment and its location, and thought your holiday rental organisation was the most thoughtful and professional we've dealt with in many visits to Paris....or anywhere for that matter. Fabulous compendium and local info! Re the apartment - we were really impressed with the quality of the fittings and even the untensils (sharp Cuisinart knives, a waiters friend that worked, and a separate clothes dryer.... yaaayyyyy!!!). The only thing missing (if it could possibly have been squeezed in) was a microwave. But that's all! Our greeter Guillaume was on time, friendly, and helpful...and if we'd had such a greeter on our first trip to Paris many years ago, we would have had a much easier introduction to the city, with its delights and quirks. He gave us some great tips re exhibitions and a few previously undiscovered quiet corners in the neighbourhood, and a bottle of wine from his region. Bravo all around! Our Place des Vosges apartment was fantastic. We loved pretending we were locals- visiting the local boulangerie, the Bastille market, looking down upon the "tourists" below. The added touches of L'Occitane products and flowers upon arrival were appreciated. The reduced rate offered due to the fire in the building made it great value. The hallway was still in need of renovation but this served to emphasise the contrast when the apartment door was opened and revealed a light modern very comfortable residence. Why HiP? The apartment represented great value. Also this is the first time in many visits to Paris that we were coming for more than 2/3 nights. I didnt know anything about HIP but the website looked professional and the email exchanges i had with the staff suggested a well organised company. I was not disappointed. |

The apartment was exactly right for a couple. Well appointed, comfortable and attractive. Perhaps its strongest point is the neighborhood. Seventeenth century Place des Vosges is an architectural delight with excellent bistros in the arcades, art galleries on the ground floor and a beautiful park in the square. We had a wonderful time in Paris and the apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The apartment was very comfortable...both the kitchen and washroom are very well designed and seemed brand new! The sofa bed was very comfortable and everything was super clean. The apartment itself is located in a wonderful part of Paris, right next to Place des Vosges...one of the few places in Paris where you can sit on the grass and relax in a park. It is located close to metro stations, restaurants and tourist sites but far enough from the tourist sites that the apartment felt like a home away from home. We loved it! The owners and mgmt team who greeted us were great and very accommodating. The recent fire in the hallway on the 2nd floor has not been repaired but it did not impact our stay. Why HiP? To be honest with you...the euro is so strong compared to the canadian dollar that we were looking for something affordable, this apartment was in our price point. The arrondisement was also a factor. The apartment also shows well in the pictures. |

The property was in a fantastic position giving a real "feel" of Paris that wasn't full of tourists. The renovation work below wasn't a big problem though they did continue until late in the day on the Friday we were there. We had been informed of this and the discount we had received was more than adequate. The apartment was extremely well equipped and the bathroom being new was great. The company could not be faulted. Everything was explained clearly and we were kept up to date with our booking details and payments. To be met by a local and given details of the apartment and area was very helpful. I have already recommended this company to my friends and would definitely use them again. Why HiP? My daughter found you on the internet and your website was very well laid out and clear and the photos were true to the apartment (we discovered when we got there). Also you did not put pressure on us to make a quick decision and were helpful to us in making a choice. |

The Place des Vosges flat was very comfortable and well appointed, and the location was ideal. I would highly recommend this apartment for a business traveler, or a couple in Paris for a few days. The only qualification I would make is that if the weather is warm, the lack of air conditioner will necessitate keeping the windows open - this can be a problem as there is noise throughout the day and late evening. |

The apartment was just like the photos and accommodated four people just fine. It had everything that we needed and more. The location is right off the square and in a wonderful shopping and dining neighborhood. The bakery next door is fantastic. There was some fire damage in the hallway, but nothing that affected the apartment. We had a relaxing, stress-free trip thanks to Haven in Paris. We highly recommend Andy's taxi service and Haven in Paris to anyone planning a trip to the city. Why HiP? A relative living in Paris found your website. We looked at a number of property management sites in Paris and yours had the best properties with both internet and phone access. I really appreciated the ability to work with a US-based company. It's a lot less hassle than dealing with an international entity--especially when it comes to money transactions and basic communication. Our original plans fell through at the last minute and we had less than a week to find lodging in Paris. You were so quick to respond, which made all the difference. The entire process was seamless and worry-free. Loved the well-written instructions, suggestions and tips both before and after we arrived. The fire really had little impact on us. Though the apartment itself was small, it was very well thought out and organized. Loved the location--nothing like walking out the door and into Place Des Vosges! The Mac, the free high speed internet and the free long distance are REALLY appreciated. Overcame the most obvious obstacles when you travel--ability to quickly and easily Skype and call home. And free! This was so much more than an apartment rental. Haven in Paris has obviously put a great deal of thought into providing a welcoming, worry-free, relaxing space. I was thoroughly impressed with my entire experience. The website is crisp and easy to navigate, including the availability section. The team I worked with to set up the visit made the process very simple and were most responsive. I particularly liked the fact that I could charge the cost of the stay rather than trying to figure out a lot of euros in cash. My arrival at the apartment was challenging because of the street closures on Sundays and that might be something to mention to guests arriving on that day because I underestimated how long it would take to get there. Fortunately Amaury (my greeter) was very accommodating and helped me settle right in. The flowers, wine and loaf of bread were a charming touch. The Place des Vosges apartment is simply lovely and is located in a fabulous part of the city. Everything is within close distance. Incredible restaurants and shops are nearby as well as a particularly fine bakery on the corner of the street. The park in the Places des Vosges is a wonderful feature to have so near too. You had given me a heads-up about the fire so I was prepared for that and not bothered by it, though the damage to the hallways is quite significant. We were greeted by a friendly Parisian who was willing to answer all our questions and be a resource for us throughout our stay. The apartment was comfortable, perfectly located, and clean. We could not imagine staying in a better neighborhood; it was convenient to a major Metro stop, within walking distance of the Opera, shopping, the Seine, and interesting neighborhoods. We were able to relax and enjoy our long vacation in large part because we had such a wonderful place to stay. Some days we didn't even want to leave the apartment or neighborhood. Why HiP? The apartment was EXACTLY as depicted on your website and in your communications with me. We (my wife and I) were VERY pleased with the apartment and with our experience there. Amaury (our greeter) was great. He was waiting for me on arrival, even though I was a few minutes early. He showed me everything in detail, and (as promised) there were flowers and a baguette waiting for us when we returned later. The first time I tried the combination to the inner door, it did not work. So I called Amaury. He answered immediately, and when I explained my problem, he explained the second character was a B and not an 8. There was some other, very minor issue which I called him about (don't remember now what it was) but he took care of it immediately. So I was very pleased with his availability and help. We became quite fond of the 'cafe crème a porter' from the bar across the street, and we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant in the building next door to the apartment - Bonnes Soeurs? Everything went pretty much like clock work. Thanks again for everything. We had a wonderful stay in the apartment, and look forward to renting through Haven In Paris again in the future. |

We've been to Paris several times, but our long weekend in the Marais district at your stunning apartment was by far our favorite visit. Was it the amazing location -- in the heart of one of Paris' most charming neighborhoods but slightly off the tourist track? Was it the lovely view and impeccably appointed accommodations? We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely picture perfect- literally across the street from Place des Vosges. It is walking distance to lots of adorable shops, restaurants and art galleries as well as metro stops. There are also many interesting museums in the vicinity, like the Musée Picasso. On Sundays, one of the biggest and best "farmer's markets" in the city is around the corner, and we would buy lots of cheese, meats and pastries for a picnic in the park. The apartment itself is very clean and modern, with a renovated kitchen and bathroom – a big bonus in Paris! All in all, for the price, I don"t think you can beat the amenities and location.
