We arrived after a long flight from Australia [2 parents, 2 teens and a 10 year old].Our greeter[Jessica] was waiting at the accommodation with a friendly smile, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine.She explained every appliance and quirk of the property, so everything ran smoothly.Jessica went out of her way to help us relocate a backpack my son had left in the taxi...nothing was too much trouble.It was such a relief to have someone who could speak fluent French, to deal with the taxi driver, as we would have struggled.Jessica also gave us a metro map and explained where some of the sights were and which line to take.Best of all, the apartment was lovely and perfect for our family.A great area, walking distance to many sites, and full of charm.It was well equipped with everything we needed, including basic food staples, enabling us to quickly boil up some pasta for our hungry, jetlagged kids, plus it was one minute to a supermarket.After a wonderful week, Jessica also organized a large taxi to take us to the train station.It was wonderful service and we would not hesitate to book again through Haven in Paris.Wish all accommodations in the world were this well run... Our stay in Paris was great. One of the major reasons is due to the services offered by Haven in Paris. I was reluctant to not have the security of a hotel; however, we are now happy that we did not use a hotel. The property was clean and well kept. Our greeter was helpful and easy to talk to. We had a fabulous time in Paris , and having a lovely place to Come home to made it even better. Travelling with two small children Is not easy, but our little outpost in the Marais was a saviour. It was the Perfect respite from a busy day. We felt like locals-venturing out For baguettes in the morning, exploring the food markets, and cooking Nice dinners each night. The neighborhood is amazing. We would Stay there again in a heartbeat. Why HiP? The quality if the apartments you offer seems high. We appreciate the small selection of high end properties. |

Haven in Paris was amazing! We had three young children traveling with us and they made everything so easy. Kyra was our greeter and when we asked about the possibility of getting a crib, she went out and bought one for us! The apartment was amazing, the service was amazing. The amount of information given on each property and the amount of pictures online made us feel like we knew what we were renting more than other sites. The apartment is in an ideal location for exploring the major sites of Paris. Our party of 6 was very comfortable in the apartment and it proved to be a great setting for planning the days activity and then having a relaxing drink after treking miles around Paris. The location is near many nice sidewalk cafes. shops and grocery stores and a Metro station for catching the subway or buses. Our greeter (Kyra) was most helpful, especially the day we were departing. She assisted us with information about the Metro strike that helped us get to the airport on time. She was also available when we had questions during the week and did a very nice job in helping us out. One small suggestion would be to have a copy of a Metro system map in the book of information in the apartment. Also a map of the bus routes would be nice. Why HiP? We found HIP through an internet search while looking for furnished apartments that had 3 bedrooms. We found several but thought that your property was the most conveniently located for what we wanted to do in Paris. |

The apartment was just right for our family group of five. The spacious living area was good for relaxing in the evening, and the kitchen well-equipped. Loads of storage space was a real plus as well. The location is superb -- just minutes from the Pompidou centre and numerous shops and restaurants. For those with small children, the proximity of small parks with playgrounds is a real bonus -- one just up from the Dome du Marais (one of our favorite restaurants) and the other in the lovely Anne Frank garden on the Impasse Berthaud, where you can also find our other favourite restaurant, Le Hangar, and a charming doll museum. The greeter was informative and helpful, and we felt confident that were anything to go wrong, help would be at hand. All in all an excellent experience. We would definitely rent through Haven in Paris again. Why HiP? 1) The excellent website gave far more information about the apartments on offer than any other I came across. You know exactly what you are getting -- hence our response 'exactly as imagined' above. We could see it was a lovely property, and so it turned out to be. 2) The methods and terms of payment were reasonable and inspired confidence. 3) Contact by e-mail was easy and responses were prompt. 4) There seemed to be a greater understanding of what a visitor to Paris might be looking for on the part of Haven in Paris than elsewhere. 5) Having lived in the U.S. for much of my life (altough resident in the U.K. now), the fact that the company operates under the law of the state of Massachusetts was reassuring. |

The apartment we rented through Haven in Paris was fabulous. Wonderful service, a beautiful building, pristine sheets, towels and bathrooms, and a welcoming indoor picnic. I highly recommend Haven in Paris, and definitely plan to return. Why HiP? I liked the website, and the apartment looked cool for the price. |

A fantastic apartment with a warm feel and amazing location. We loved coming "home" and having dinner at the dining table with our freshly bought cheese, bread and wine. The location was central to everything and if something was not within walking distance, it was easy to find a cab or use the underground. We highly recommend Auberge Nicholas Flamel for dinner, which is about two blocks away. Why HiP? The website is up to date and informative and the reservation process was very easy. |

Renting from Haven in Paris was a great experience. The info packet about the property and neighborhood was helpful and thoughtful. The greeters were friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment was comfortable, clean, well equipped, and really lovely. It was especially nice to find a few complimentary kitchen condiments at our disposal since we did cook quite a lot. Just to note: the pull-out sofa, which we had to use because we were a large group, was not comfortable for 2 adults. We placed the mattress on the floor, and that worked fine. And one suggestion: I think it would be preferable to use unscented or - even better - natural laundry products. My family found the scented linens unpleasant. Overall though, the attention to detail was much appreciated! Why HiP? Your site was recommended by friends. We found a large apartment - not easy to find! |

Our stay at Michel le Comte was really enjoyable. Our greeter, Carrie, was warm and welcoming. We were concerned that six adults might feel cramped but that was not the case. Having phone service, the internet and access to the local market with their great selection of wine, bread, and cheese made this place a super place to vacation. Why HiP? Haven in Paris was listed on Paris by Paris website. The person who has that site is a friend of a friend. I was leary of booking online but felt it was safe if it was recommended. We had a wonderful week in Paris and found the apartment to be excellent. Carrie who was there to greet us and also had the unfortunate task of coming at 5.30 am on our departure was extremely helpful not only organising a taxi for us but also in being able to give us useful information whilst we were at the apartment. We found the book of suggestions, maps and things to do, restaurants etc etc very useful and well compiled. We would have no hesitation in recommending your company to others and you never know... we might be lucky enough to again stay in Paris some time in the future. |

We loved Paris and the location of this property and would definitely consider staying here again. We were greeted by Carrie who explained everything to us and attended to all our requests and advised us on best locations to Eat, drink and shop. She was very friendly and a credit to your operation. Unlike the cold receptions we received throughout England after we left Paris. We just returned from a great week in Paris to which the Michel Le Comte apartment made an important contribution. It was always a real pleasure to return to the place after sightseeing and shopping, particularly with the kids who enjoyed relaxing in the spacious place. The apartment is very well located and has everything one is looking for. It is extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen and with respect to guides and literature on Paris. Thanks so much for all your help with our holiday in Paris. We really loved the apartment. Carrie, our greeter, was very nice and she was even able to come a bit early to meet my mother-in-law at the apartment when she arrived earlier than expected. The decor was beautiful. We really noticed how special everything was - the paintings, the downstairs bathroom, all the kitchen accessories. The kids loved the staircase and their little room upstairs. We would definitely recommend the apartment to our friends. |

The greeters (Kyra and Carrie) were great. No problems with the key exchanges. Kyra was especially helpful when our airlines lost our baggage. Loved the historic apartment in the Marais. All the 21stC amenities in a beautiful 18th Century historic setting. Can't rave enough about the coordination and quality of the properties. Absolutely excellent customer service and coordination. Michel Le Comte was a wonderful apartment in a great part of town. We wanted for nothing--we had laundry, computer and a central access to public transportation, and all in a beautiful, well maintained historic apartment. We would definitely rent through this service again, without any hesitation. I could not give higher praise to this service, and we definitely look forward to reserving through Havin In Paris again! Why HiP? Initially, I was referred by Amy Lee Joannes. She and her husband own Gerard's on Rte. 2. I was initially skeptical about renting, but Amy reassured me. After having stayed with my mother and 12 year old daughter for almost 2 weeks at the Michel Le Comte apartment, I can thoroughly recommend Haven in Paris as a source for high quality rentals. I almost don't want to recommend this service for fear of not being able to make a reservation, because it will become so popular!! My Husband and I were excited about sharing Paris with our Niece and wanted to make sure we had a "Wow" place, Centrally Located to all the sites, yet in an area where Parisian live. We took alot of time in searching as we had an ideal place in mind. Michel le Comte is what we chose and it was everything and more than we had imagined. The amenities were as if we were at home. Just a couple of blocks away, we were able to pick up whatever we needed from the Markets.....we felt just like a Parisian. Thanks so much for making our vacation so enjoyable!!!! Why HiP? Jim and I would like to take this opportunity to say that you have a wonderful apartment in Paris. We absolutely love the central location, spacious floor plan and amenities along with its superb Parisian character. Carrie met us upon our arrival on Thursday June 14th and left beautiful flowers and an equally beautiful bottle of wine. We LOVED this charming apartment and the location is perfect! A short walk to the Place des Vosges and shopping the chic boutiques! The Pompidou Centre, Carnavalet, Picasso and Jewish museums are a brief walk too! Their list of restaurants in the area proved to have several great choices. The entire transaction was truly professional and our greeter was delightful! Thank you to all involved! We will use you again. Why HiP? Your website with the description is awesome and completely reliable. The fact that Ms. Berman is in US (I could cross-reference) and the contract is Massachusetts law was indeed a strong consideration since I had never done this before. |

I had never rented before abroad and was initially concerned that it would be more hassle than it was worth. Nothing could be further from the truth with Haven in Paris. Shortly afeter my email, I received a call from Erica and immediately felt at ease. The reservation process was a breeze, and the entire rental went smoothly. We received timely email confirmations, were met promptly by our driver, and our greeter was at the apartment to show us around. She also checked in with us throughout the week although we had no problems, and she had made restaurant reservations for me before my arrival (we communicated frequently by email). It was even better(and more personal)than a hotel concierge. The apartment was as charming as the photos. It was truly old world - with the incredibly high ceilings, wood beams, and cobblestone courtyard entry. The location was very convenient to most sites and some wonderful museums (don't miss the Picasso Museum). The apartment worked particularly well for our group, since my husband and I came with two teenage boys. They were able to have the whole upstairs to themselves (so they could come in late and sleep late as well)and we had our privacy as well. The laundry and the computer also came in handy with the boys. For us, it was such a joy to have breakfast with fresh bread and fruit every morning (there are wonderful bakeries just around the corner, and wine and cheese in the early evening while we rested in our own place after hours of walking. I would recommend this apartment, particularly for families with older kids, and would absolutely rent again from Haven in Paris. |

On behalf of John and myself, I want to thank you so very much for a very wonderful experience at your Marais triplex...everything worked out perfectly and the apartment was so comfortable and convenient. It made returning to Paris that much more pleasurable. More importantly, you should know that Anne, our greeter, is an absolute gem (you probably do know this!) She exudes such warmth and professionalism..absolutely on top of every detail. It was reassuring to know that she was a phone call away if we needed her. Dear Erica and Anne: I know that Mary has already been in touch with you, but I thought it important to express my personal gratitude as well, for your exemplary service. By way of background, I've always held fast to the belief that the absolute best educational experience and self-confidence boost one can give their children is to open their eyes to the world beyond their everyday parochial view. As such, we immersed our two boys at an early age to the wonders of London, Paris, and the south of France. In doing so, I quickly grasped the inherent benefits of renting flats, apartments, and villas rather than dwelling in the cramped confines of hotels...more space, greater relaxation, and a truly "native" experience. And while this quick get-away was our first overseas jaunt sans children, we still opted for an apartment versus a hotel. To be candid, in all our years of renting vacation apartments both in the U.S. and abroad, we have never had a single unpleasant experience. But none of our past experiences even remotely compared to the level of attentiveness and responsiveness we received from Haven in Paris! From my first contact, all the way through our all too brief 5-day stay, both you and Anne were an absolute delight to work with. The apartment (Michel le Comte) was sensational, and having Anne there to greet us and acquaint us with the apartment and the Marais neighborhood after a long flight was most appreciated. The check-in call from Anne, just to see if we had any questions or concerns once we were able to acclimate to the apartment, was simply "icing on the cake", convincing us that your people and your organization are truly committed to excellence and client satisfaction. Just a note to let you know that our stay was absolutely enjoyable! The apartment suited our needs very well. So centrally located. It is wonderful to come home each evening to such a lovely place after long days of sightseeing. Anne has been very helpful and caring. Although, nothing whatsoever went wrong for us, I rested easy knowing that I could call on her for anything. All in all, our time in Paris has been without difficulties! This stay rue Michel Le Comte brought me back to the Paris of my dreams, in one of the best locations to live in, real close to the Beaubourg museum and the village-like life of the Rambuteau market street. Decoration is outstanding! |
