As soon as I put the key in the door, I knew my stay in Paris was going to be fabulous. The apartment was fabulous and included all the little extras that made it so memorable. Let me first say that my wife and I were traveling with our 6 children (ages 19 to 8). We arrived in Paris after 2 weeks of travel throughout Turkey. You cannot imagine our joy and relief when we found Harriet Norris waiting to welcome us at Lesdiguieres! Although it shows a little more wear than the photos on the website indicate, the apartment is delightful and did not disappoint in any way. The plumbing is very good (I know that sounds typically American, but after 2 weeks in Turkey it was a blessing), the kitchen is more than adequate, and the decor is beautiful. What shines even more than the apartment is the neighborhood itself. The Marais is a delight, full of numerous patisseries, shops, charcuteries, and various other treats to be discovered. Lesdiguieres is perfectly situated for our family - on a quiet, broad avenue just a block or so away from the action and just a 10 minute walk from L'Ile St. Louis. Couldn't have been more perfect. As far as Haven In Paris's service was concerned, the rental process was painless, while the many recommendations included in their Info packet all lived up to their billing. We used Elyseecars to get us from and to CDG and could not have been more pleased. HIP's person in Paris (Harriet Norris) checked in on us via email several times and also made a restaurant reservation for us. It was comforting to know that we had someone to contact in case of any circumstance. All said, we would highly recommend HIP as well as Lesdiguieres for anyone looking for a place to stay in Paris. Our one regret was that we couldn't stay another week. We are all vowing to return. Why HiP? A primary issue was, to be honest, price. This was based on the fact that we had a party of 8, and there were not many choices in the price range of Lesdiguieres. That being said, we did find your presentation of your properties, the thoughtfulness you attend toward the traveler from the States, and your beautifully presented website all reasons to choose HIP. My wife and I are both architects, and we were hoping that the care with which you presented your properties would reflect in the service you provide and the properties themselves. We were not disappointed. As you grow, I hope this aspect of your company will not suffer. Blessings to all. |

This was our second rental through HIP and was as smooth and efficient, friendly and courteous as before.The apartment was lovely, exactly as it looked on the web site, although the front bedroom suffered a little from traffic noise. The information and assistance we received from HIP for things to do in Paris while we were there was excellent and the recommendations spot on. Our greeter Susie, was "all ours" and was literally contactable 24 hours a day. Why HiP? Our first experience was fantastic. |

it was all great....of course we chose the location but most of all we chose the apartment because of the web site description which was very accurate and clear..some aren't and are hard to follow when you are not familiar with the local way of describing beds etc the photos were very accurate and the service prior to arrival was fantastic and very helpful especially the written info...as was the literature in the apartment...one little suggestion would be to either have a printer facility or arrangement with someone nearby to print things ie we found that visiting the paris attractions and online checking in would have been so much easier with being able to print out stuff..eg versailles and maps and so on..its a very small thing but you asked how to make a perfect rental even better...it was the best we have experienced and couldnt fault it Why HiP? your website and your quick response...we were trying to book from australia so needed to know quickly what was going on...your communication was explicit ..easy for non french...even australians ..to understand and very helpfull as well...always responding to an email is very reassuring when one is trying to make a family holiday work from afar |

We enjoyed our stay enormously. The apartment was just as it appeared on your website (often websites can be deceiving, but your photos and floorplan were spot on - very much appreciated). In fact, it was better! I suggest you take a picture showing the view from the balcony (and/or the outside of the building showing the balcony) because the balcony was such a nice feature, especially in light of the beautiful weather. The location is outstanding. The beds, linens, and other furnishings were very comfortable. With the windows closed, the apartment is very quiet. All in all, it was terrific. And Paris is, of course, a beautiful city!!! |

Myself and two travel companions rented Lesdiguieres for a week, and without a doubt it was the most seamless process from booking to the day we departed for the airport. We have all rented apartments all over the world, and like everyone have horror stories to tell. This was nothing close... the apartment was exactly as the photos and description led us to believe. The other two occupants (both wealthy well traveled gals with more experience than me) gave me huge props for a) finding it and b) the ease of payment, and the service we got. Erica and her team in the US and in Paris were absolutely professional, helpful and accommodating. I almost didn't want to write a glowing review for fear that everyone else will find out about this treasure and it will make it hard to rent the next time, haha. Hats off to the Haven in Paris team! I will no doubt be renting from you again. |

The location and convenience of this property near the Bastille metro station was excellent. We enjoyed the number of eateries and bakeries in the immediate area. This property comfortably held our party of four adults and three children. The beds were comfortable and we even went to the local Bastille farmer's market and made dinner in the apartment on a couple of nights. Lastly, our greeter was prompt and was helpful in answering any questions that we had. We called her with several subsequent questions and she was readily accessable. If we take a family vacation to Paris again, I'd definitely rent from Haven in Paris. |

We have been to Paris many times before, but have always stayed in hotels. Because we were there for a month this time, we thought an apartment would be a much better idea. We were right, and the apartment at Lesdiguieres was just perfect. It is a great location on the fringe of the Marais, and everything you could possibly need is literally just around the corner. We felt very much like locals. Why HiP? Your web site is informative and you can get a pretty good idea of the apartments from it. Being able to communicate with your previous clients was great also. |

My husband and I and four kids decided to spend Christmas in Paris. Rather than get 3 hotel rooms we thought it would be better to rent an apartment. It was so easy through the Haven in Paris. We were able to see exactly what we were getting. Their web site is detailed with photographs of every room plus a map with exact location and video cam. Our apartment in the Marais was exactly as promised...absolutely beautiful! We loved the location. Just a 10 minute walk through the Isle Saint Louis to Notre Dame cathedral for Christmas mass. An unforgettable trip! One of my kids called it "Heaven (not Haven) in Paris"! Why HiP? Such a great experience. We were a little unsure how to operate the washer/dryer and even how to get in and out of the building. Christiana told us that everything we needed to know was in the information book, but it would have been nice if she had taken a minute to go through a few things. We would have liked another set of bath towels too. It's a little thing, but when you're on vacation you really don't want to do laundry. (NOTE from HIP: Usually our greeters spend ample time with our clients & provide lots of towels. We have rectified this situation and are upset that it happened.) |

The apartment was perfect for our family of five. It had a few noises (air conditioner, toilet, etc.) which we had to adjust to but, overall we enjoyed our stay. The selection of Paris guide books in the apartment were a nice resource. Why HiP? Your website was easy to use with lots of pertinent information. |

The flat is absolutely great, very cozy, you actually feel like home after few hours and lets not forget that Adrian was not the only one greeting us, Andy was there at the airport and he is a big seller for you guys, before you see the place you are already in love with it. Adrian was great, and was glad to know him better the last day, it talked alot about Susie, which we can say she is a heart person which loves what she does! Good for all! Why HiP? We have no words to thank you for the amazing trip and experience, actually I have been receiving emails from other agencies we contacted for the same trip and they have been asking why I did not chose them and why did I go to another agency...as the answer was simple and I was glad to answer their emails saying that what you offered not only in terms of properties but about the human approach, the answering to each and every question, regardless of the time made us trust, and when it is about living, trust comes first, it makes you feel safe! |

- The apartment is centrally located in a lovely neighborhood and is very close to the Bastille Metro station - Beautifully furnished apartment with all the comforts of home - Check in greeter was extremely courteous and made us feel at home right away - A lovely vacation - we fell in love in Paris and cannot wait to come back again Why HiP? - Positive word-of-mouth from my cousin Ashish Kumar who rented an apartment earlier in the year from Haven in Paris. |

Kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking purposes - no lids for pans, no large pots, no mixing bowls (not a problem for us, but could be for some) (NOTE: This has been rectified). Air conditioning in bedrooms did not work properly, making sleeping conditions rather warm and stuffy. This was a problem since air conditioning was one big reason why we selected this apartment. (Also rectified) Why HiP? The apartment itself was what attracted us to HIP. |

We were so pleased with the location -- we loved being near the Marais and Ile St. Louis, within walking distance to so many restaurants and convenient to vendors. The apartment was lovely, clean and bright. The space worked out exceedingly well during the time our daughter, her husband and their baby visited. I would highly recommend this apartment to your clients. Faye and Susie (our greeters) were extremely helpful and took care of the little things that came up . We did have a wonderful stay in Paris and are already talking about a return visit. |
