We were greeted my Mika as soon as our car pulled up in the street, she was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment was even better than the photos, it was spacious, comfortable and had everything that was needed to make our stay so special. It is in the best position, the location was perfect for us as we were out exploring everyday and so easy to find our way back. It was like a home away from home! Why HiP? Haven in Paris were great (helpful and professional) and I'd happily use them again. Our family of 5 (two adults and three teenagers) stayed in the Carnot apartment and it was spaciously and attractive. The building is lovely and the apartment had a Parisian feel. The floorboards are incredibly creaky (old building) so groups with young children might be bothered by the creaking when they're trying to get children to sleep - but it didn't bother us. Carnot was a good base for us in Paris. Thanks HIP! Why HiP? Attractive website, great photos, flexible company (willing to negotiate a stay of less then 7 days). |

We could not believe how wonderful and spacious this apartment was. Location is amazing, and you can indeed see both the Arc de triomphe AND the Eiffel Tower from your balcony! We were in Paris for 10 days for a family wedding and because of the great stores and markets within a short walk, and the fully equipped kitchen, we prepaired and ate most meals in the apartment. Washer and dryer were a Godsend. Our tours of Paris were all just a few metro stops away. The metro was right at our front door. We would not hesitate to recommend this property! We had a wonderful time at Hip's Carnot property. I will definitely recommend it to others AND use Hip again. Hip was very responsive throughout the booking process. I was put at ease knowing it was an American company (Boston based) with a BBB rating. The Carnot apartment was wonderful! It exceeded our expectations! I could not believe it, the flat was actually better than the photos! We loved the location, view and proximity to the subway. The linen quality was excellent and the mattresses/beds were very comfy. It was so clean; it was spotless. Shower pressure was excellent in both showers and we NEVER ran out of hot water. It was great having instructions on all the appliances and all the finishes were top notch. We appreciated all the little things like soap, paper towels, hairdryers, American DVDs, wine and fresh flowers. Our greeter helped to familiarize us with the apartment and area. I was thrilled we were loaned a Mac Book! Somehow, I missed or forgot we would be getting this! The minor negatives are: the floors creaked A LOT, and the bathroom layout is a tad odd but this did not bother us. We loved Carnot and would stay again! Why HiP? We selected Hip because it was more economical to rent an apartment for 6 people than 3 hotel rooms. We loved all the comforts supplied! We also liked that we could pay with a credit card and in US dollars. |

The Carnot property and the team from Haven in Paris are exceptional. We are a family of 6 and the property easily accommodated our needs during our 7 day stay. It is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Our greeter accommodated our schedules and was very helpful in familiarization, local recommendations and kept in touch to see that all was going well. The location of the property is ideal for getting around town as it is right above the Charles DeGaulle - Etoile metro and RER station. Even the view from the balcony was an unexpected delight. I highly recommend this property and Haven in Paris in general. |

We were travelling with a toddler, a baby, and both sets of grandparents, so we needed 3 bedrooms, and we needed clean. For the same as 3 hotel rooms, we got a whole lot more at the Carnot property. Although compact, a lot of amenities fit into the property. Everyone was very comfortable (except for some noise at night from the neighbour beside the small bedroom) and it was clean enough for my mother. Before we arrived, I had worried about the location, as I had stayed more centrally in the past, but being near the metro and able to practically touch the Arc de Triomph made up for it. We could also walk to a park with a play area in about 5 minutes. We used Michael as our driver to pick us up at the train station. He was fantastic, but of course expensive. In our case with 8 passengers and luggage, and nervous travellers in our group it made the transition easier. We will definitely use HIP again, and for those who can afford it, enjoy! |

Haven in Paris made our Paris trip a smooth and pleasurable experience from start to finish. Many companies struggle to interact with customers using email but HiP has ironed out this communication channel very well and is a model for other online businesses. The printed contract documentation, property guides, the greeting process and the quick email responses ensure confidence with dealing with HiP. As far as the property is concerned, here are a few suggestions: The water pressure in the shower needs to be addressed, it's barely a trickle; the shower in the room with the bath really needs a shower curtain to avoid splashes onto the floor*; some tie-back system on the windows would be great as they blow close when there's a breeze; the floor boards could really use a bit more glue! I know Paris apartments are old and suffer from this, but the corridor boards are crazy loose; some of the teflon coated frypans and pots need to be replaced as scratched teflon is a known carcinogen.** HIP Note: *The water pressure in Paris tends to be a bit weaker than in other major cities, but we'll be looking into this with the owner. **Regarding the tie-back system, floor boards, and teflon coated pans, we are working with the owner to improve these now. Why HiP? The available properties and the selection. |

I just wanted to tell you thank you for a wonderful experience. This was the first time I rented a furnished appartment as I always stayed in hotels, and this stay made me a believer. Will never again stay in hotels when you are a better solution. The location was impeccable. Evelyne, the greeter was a sweet heart, and gave us worthwhile tips. The place was clean and comfortable. There is absolutely nothing to change; we will definitely come back again. |

The flat was casual which was great for us because we had three small children in our party. However, I don't think this particular property is well suited for small children otherwise. We were very strongly cautioned to keep the noise down--take off shoes so as not to disturb, no noise in stairwell, etc. Consequently we were a little stressed trying to keep the children quiet and still. Mika was very friendly and helpful but I think very concerned about the three small children. We were very pleased with Michael's car service. We had him meet us at the train station upon our arrival and deliver us to CDG when we departed. The drivers were prompt and helped us with our mountain of luggage. The view from the terrace is unbeatable and was enjoyed day and night. The proximity to the Metro was a real bonus for us. The numerous restaurants and the food market and Monoprix nearby were also pluses for us. Overall, our stay was great and a visit to Paris we will always remember. NOTE FROM HIP: This property is in a residential building and we do ask clients to be mindful of any extra loud noises that may disturb the neighbors. Despite that, we believe this property is well suited to families with children. Why HiP? We were searching late in the game and this was the only place we found that met both our size and budget requirements. |

The location was very good, near the subway station with access to all of Paris. The apartment has incredible views from the balcony of the Arc du Triomphe and Eiffel Tower. Great picture opportunities at night. Our greeter Mika really made everything special. She is absolutely amazing! She even went out of her way to translate a few phrases for us to take to dinner since one of the people in our party had food allergies. The espresso machine in the kitchen was our favorite feature and we appreciated the generous supply of espresso pods. One feature that was different and not quite as positive was that the two toilets are separate from the shower and bath areas. One toilet was in the laundry room and did not have a sink. The other toilet with a sink was off the living room. The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well. Next time we might look at renting another property with combination bathroom/toilets. Overall, much better than renting a hotel. HIP NOTE: We try to be very clear with our property descriptions and note the facilities within each of this property's bathrooms. We'll make sure to emphasize this separation in the future. Why HiP? We were referred to Haven in Paris by another property. The detailed information on the website is really what made me confident that it would be a comfortable property for our vacation. |

We loved the apartment, the location, the many local restaurants and the feeling of the area. The apartment was just right for us, especially with two children. The layout worked very well. The kitchen was just right and the view was spectacular. The apartment was exactly as described on the website. I always look carefully at the floor plan so I understood the location and size of the rooms and bathrooms, toilets, etc. and there were no surprises. This was also my experience renting from Haven in Paris in the Marais two years ago. We found both apartments to be exactly as advertised and perfectly suited to our needs. We will rent again from HIP when we come back next year. It is a great agency and I am delighted to have such a resource for my visits to Paris. My husband took many pictures day and night from the balcony. Also David the driver picked us up at the airport and was just wonderful. |

Our Avenue Carnot apartment was wonderful. Great space, great views and well appointed. We had wondered about the potential of noise, but it was no issue whatsoever. Our greeter was fantastic... both for our arrival and our departure. The fresh flowers and the bottle of wine were a nice touch too. Just home from Paris and it was beyond fabulous!!!! We LOVED the apartment....location was perfect and it had comfort, charm and we felt very safe at night!!! Thank you for all you did to help make our trip great.... we truly enjoyed crashing at night, cooking dinner and breakfast in our little "haven in paris"....also, the driver that took us to airport was excellent...Jacques! made it in 30 minutes, very early, but better safe than sorry. What fond memories we have of our week in Paris staying on Carnot Avenue. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our greeter, Mika, was not only professional but charming and was eager to help out in any and every way throughout our visit. The apartment itself was lovely...with all the comforts of home. Once we had made a trip to the market for food, we cooked dinner and made breakfast with ease, as the kitchen was furnished with all that we could have possibly needed. And lastly, the apartment was conveniently located for both catching the metro and for taking the Air France bus to and from the airport. We just hope all our future vacations will be so perfect as ours was with you! We have already been recommending Haven in Paris and will definitely contact you again before our next visit. |

GREAT location. Next to the metro, the train station, the taxi stand,the bus stop and public parking. Wonderful view of the Arch de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower. Neighborhood is charming with many shops, grocery stores, restaurants and a daily farmer's market. Very convenient. The furnishings are not super, but they function OK. The apartment has lots of light and is quite quiet. The appliances are super- everything you can think of and the air-conditioning was a blessing during the several hot and humid days that occurred. The TV was excellent with many stations. I watched American football and the Ryder Cup. The HIP representative could not have been more charming, helpful and responsive. We were VERY pleased and plan to return next year. In fact we have already booked the apartment for 2011. Why HiP? The fact that HIP was US based and worked in US currency was a real factor. Also the paperwork, conducted on line, was easy to follow and utilize. Of course the main reason is that HIP had the apartment we wanted: 3 BR, good location and air-conditioning. |

Thank you for providing us a wonderful experience in Paris. You and your staff went beyond norms to make us feel welcome...you showed us all aspects of the apartment, made sure we knew how to play the available video movie systems, and you gave guidance to local interesting restaurants...and we were very appreciative. The apartment you provided was charming, with metro access right outside our apt exit. You recommended Andy pick us up at the airport (he also took us back there)...he was prompt, a lot of fun on the ride, and provided intellectual conversation with my adult children who loved talking with him. |

The property we rented was great. it was in a wonderful spot and easy access. We had a wonderful driver, Jacques, who helped us so much and was a wealth of information about the city and its history. It was a hot week in Paris and whilst we had air conditioning, this did not really help. It would be beneficial to look into fans or get the air conditioning serviced. We did not sleep very well because of this. Note From HIP: We have asked the owner to purchase some extra fans for the apartment. Very hot days like the ones mentioned are rare in Paris, but do occasionally happen. We will also make sure the AC is serviced and in top working order. Why HiP? We looked at many hotels in the city as well as other apartments but we have a wonderful contact Megan at Bella Italia who helped us with our property in Italy and she helped us locate an apartment to give us more space as we settled in with our three young kids. |

It's not often that I go through the effort to post comments. It must be a really good or really bad experience. Fortunately, this comment is inspired by a most pleasant experience end-to-end. Each step of the way was personable and professional. Our greeter was charming. This apartment felt like a home away from home. I will miss the balcony most. The greeter was amazing. She definitely went out of her way to make for a pleasant arrival and departure. The flowers and wine are nice touches. Helping with our luggage. Walk through of apartment. Very cool. Kudos! Everything was clean and well groomed. Loved having the Nespresso machine with filled box. Great touch! Kitchen was well stocked. Great to have champagne and wine glasses in abundance. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Comfortable and well stocked linens. My expectations are very high and this apartment exceeded them. Experience with Haven in Paris was very professional and pleasant. Property was as pictured and we were pleasantly happy with the location of the property. Mika was a great help and an excellent manager for the property. I would suggest maybe some throws in the family room on the sofa so when it is cold you can get cozy without moving to the bedroom. We appreciated the last minute availability of the apartment. Excellent access to rer and metro -- could not possibly be closer or more convenient. Postcard Paris is just outside the window with fantastic Arc and Eiffel views (especially at night when the Eiffel tower is sparkling). Downsides of the apartment included master bedroom in the back away from the windows with terrific views, and odd bathrooms with elevated shower stalls and weak water pressure/not enough hot water for simultaneous showers in both bathrooms. Kitchen amenities were terrific, including Nespresso machine. Beautiful old building had lots of charm. Elevator very convenient as well. |

We loved staying in the apartment on Carnot. It was so very handy to the Metro, and to the Arc, the Eiffel Tower, and Champs Elysées, and the many wonders of Paris. The view from the balcony is not to be believed. The apartment was comfortable and beautifully appointed. Our greeter, Mika, was lovely, gracious, helpful, and utterly charming. We just got back from an "amazing trip" where we stayed at Avenue Carnot. The apartment was an excellent choice for seven girls to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday!It offered every luxury of home! To look out our balcony with a glass of wine in our hand starring at the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower sparkling, was to say the least surreal! From Michael our driver(who was ever so patient when our flight was a bit delayed) to Mika our greeter, who could not have been more welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know for our stay. We will definetly be returning, I miss the croissants and baguettes already! Why HiP? My sister found out about your business from a blog " Elements of Style". |

Travelling with my husband, father and 4 yo daughter all the way to Europe from Australia could have been quite daunting but our experience at "our" Paris apartment was a breeze. We had all the comforts of home plus a few new ones. "Nespresso anyone?" The apartment was superbly located for transport which was great for young tired legs and old ones. The lift was a welcome sight at the end of the day. The apartment was our cosy home filled with the scents of croissants in the morning and garlic baked snails at night. The nearby markets were filled with irresistible offerings. The beds were all supremely comfortable and even doing the laundry seemed easy and exotic in between trips to the Musee D'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower. Would I change anything? Only to swap myself with the current inhabitants... Why HiP? We chose HIP for the attention to detail, the myriad of inclusions that turned the apartment from holiday accommodation to a home, prompt and friendly service and value for money. Would love to use HIP again. Please add more properties to Provence as that is where I want to go next! |

The reservation and process and all the correspondences with HIP were great. They were very professional and replied quickly to all my questions. It was my mom's friends that stayed in the apartment and they were very comfortable in it. I would say 5 persons for the apartment would be perfect. Six persons would be too tight for this place since it is not that big, and the sofa bed in the living room can only fit a child . But more than the place and its convenience, my mom's friends were pleased with the service of Mika the greeter, who would constantly check on them to see if they needed anything. She even provided a nespresso machine with a free box of capsules...what a treat!!! They said everything they needed was in the apartment. There were nice fluffy clean towels. The beds were of good quality and very nice to sleep in. I believe that HIP has a certain standard that they follow and that the home owners must follow as well. I, on the other hand, stayed in another apartment with my family (because HIP did not have a big enough apartment available for us for these dates that was close enough to Carnot) and it was the total opposite. It fell below expectations in terms of supplies and cleanliness. Size was the only thing going for it to fit all 8 of us. For my next visit to Paris, i will definitely rent from HIP for myself! I hope more people enroll their apartments in your company so that you can have more inventory! Why HiP? It was recommended by a friend who also heard about HIP through other friends. I was also impressed with how quickly and clearly they answered all my queries. The website was also very very informative. The terms and conditions of the contract were very fair as well. |

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a total of 7 of us at the Carnot apartment but we never really felt cramped. In many ways, we loved the cozy feel of the apartment. Just a very comfortable apartment and felt like our home away from home very quickly. This was my first time ever staying at an apartment on any vacation and based on this experience, I may never opt for a hotel again for extended stays. Moreover, the staff made the whole reservation process seamless and our greeter Mika was great. Would highly recommend Havin in Paris to anybody as well as the Carnot property. The only real caveat I'd have to anyone regarding the Carnot apartment is that it's a bit away from the center of Paris, but that is very easily remedied as the Metro stop is literally right outside the door. And that convenience, together with the equally close location of the Air France bus to and from the airport, really is something you can't underestimate. And lastly, the view of the Arch and the Eiffel Tower in the evening capped the whole experience off. High marks on all accounts. Big thumbs up from each of us! Why HiP? Based on the various reviews I read both on the site and on the Interet generally (Trip Advisor, etc.), I felt that Haven in Paris would be there for us in perhaps a more personal way than most other rental agencies. In the end, that's what swayed me. |

We had a lovely stay with my parents and our children. The kids saw the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Notre Dame - wonderful! Had a lovely dinner at Le Hangar that Mika (our greeter) organized for us - a wonderful "French" Paris dinner. Mika was ever helpful! And the metro made everything so close - invest in Navigo cards, so you don't have to always buy tickets. All in all, a very memorable and wonderful week! |

What a week! Everything worked out perfectly. Thank you very much! The apartment was clean and in perfect living condition; well equipped. Having had Mika there to greet us (and waive us goodbye) was a very personal touch and an effective way to communicate with someone in person about the apartment, questions in general and just having a local contact in need. We used Andy Waters for transport to and from Carnot which worked out very well too. All in all, we were extremely happy with our service, your focus on detail and making it an "easy" vacation for us. On top of this we had glorious weather, an abundance of sunshine every day and we enjoyed all the many things to see in Paris. Our stay at the Carnot apartment was truly memorable. The view was incredible! The Metro, RER, and Taxi were at our front door! Our greeter Mika was gracious and offered guidance to our inquiries. The kitchen and laundry rooms were nicely equipped which made travel so much easier. The computer and free phone calls topped things off for us as we were able to return at the end of the day and utilize both. Carnot was a well-suited apartment for a fabulous stay in Paris! We had a fabulous stay at Carnot. The apartment was just as we expected, lovely, and our greeter was wonderful; can't say enough about how helpful she was to us. Having the CDG Etoile line outside our door was so convenient for us, we could go anywhere in Paris in a matter of minutes, along with the RER stop as well. Our weather was good, a little rain now and then but never interfered with our running around. My nieces enjoyed themselves, and the size of the apartment was perfect for ALL of us (4). I would highly recommend the Segway Scooter Tour. I gave Evelyne all the info on it. It was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip! They also have evening tours as well. Our driver, David, was prompt to and from the airport, I would recommend him for sure. The AirFrance bus, however, is right at the apartment if anyone is interested in that transportation from the airport as well. You and your staff handled everything for us with grace and confidence. We do appreciate all your effort put forth to make our stay in Paris a worry-free experience. Haven in Paris comes highly recommended by me if you are considering rental in Paris. Carnot is a pleasant well located (subway is literally in front of the apartment) apartment. We ate in a number of evenings and were thrilled that the kitchen was well stocked with items necessary for cooking, including spices, some oils etc. It was no different than cooking in your home. This is a very comfortable apartment.When you rent an apartment, you are looking for a home and this certainly succeeded. The apartment comes with an Apple Lap top which is great, however I needed mine due to all the info in it. I was unable to connect through the wireless system in the apartment although did find I could do so by connecting to the router with a telephone cable that was already connected. It would have been nice to connect via wireless. We have rented apartments before in foreign cities and give this location 4 stars out of 4. Lastly the greeter made our transition into the apartment very pleasant. She is a wonderful person and offered to show us around more, however we were comfortable that we did not need it. *Note from Haven in Paris: We are looking into the wireless issue mentioned here and wifi will be available for all future clients! Why HiP? We chose Haven In Paris by chance, finding them through the web and they were very good. |

Just wanted to let you know our recent stay in the Carnot apartment was wonderful. We went on from Paris to stay in an apartment in Amsterdam run by a different company, and while it was also nice, your apartment had the little special touches that made a difference, like the flowers, the computer, the paper towels, and the information book. Evelyne (our greeter) was wonderful and checked us in quite efficiently. She was very patient in waiting for us on checkout to bring back our rental car (and get lost on the way!). She was also a great source of information. Thank you for having coffee, Nespresso, salt, and oil available - it is a pain to shop for these things. The apartment was quite comfortable and in good order. We would highly recommend it to others. We look forward to perhaps trying out another of your properties next time we get to vacation in France. |

Our stay in Paris was great and relaxing. One reason for that was the Carnot apartment, where we could stay and live the way we like and not be dependent on any hotel "rules". Jeanne who greeted us was really nice and polite, we could ask her everything. The roses and the red wine to welcome us were wonderful and we appreciated it the whole week. The apartment was quiet, had a nice balcony with great view on the Tour Eiffel and the Arc de Triomphe. The equipment (kitchen, washing machine etc) was working perfectly and the interior decor with all the pictures, the choice of the colors was really nice. I think for 4 persons it's a great alternative way to stay in Paris. We rented already other apartments, but this flat with your company has given us the best, uncomplicated service, specially because we did rent it on such short notice. Our overall experience was excellent. Evelyne was helpful, cooperative, and responsive whenever we contacted her. And whenever she visited the apartment, she brought croissants and other lovely and thoughtful "gifts". Having spent 4 weeks in various places in Italy after leaving Paris, we can say UNEQUIVOCALLY that the phone service and Internet accommodations are WONDERFUL, not to mention the inclusion of an Apple laptop as a resource! Also, our not quite three and a half year old granddaughter absolutely fell in love with the Eiffel Tower, and we could see the Eiffel Tower sparkling every evening from the apartment after dark, and this was especially thrilling for her. In addition to staying at Carnot, we also stayed at the Marriott Renaissance hotel for a few days. Speaking strictly personally, I preferred the location near the Tuileries. However, the location of the apartment, at the Place de L'Etoile, is superb. There is a Metro right there, and not much of interest (except perhaps Montmartre) is beyond easy walking distance. We did use the Metro, but we walked everywhere - Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, Sorbonne, Tuileries, etc. The Champs Elysees is literally across the street, and there are any number & variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and specialty stores virtually around the corner from the apartment without even going to the Champs Elysees. |

The location of the apartment was excellent - literally steps away from a metro stop and several restuarants as well as the Arc de Triomphe. The apartment was very well appointed - with washer/dryer, dishwasher, espresso machine, wi/fi and laptop and air conditioning - which was a god send in the heat. We were there with my parents and our 14 year old daughter. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again. Why HiP? We needed three bedrooms - one with a private bath for my parents in their 70s. We also wanted an elevator for them, if needed. This had three bedrooms, 2 baths and enough space for all five of us. |

My friends and I (4 women) spent a week in Paris at Avenue Carnot. The apartment was better than imagined; warm, comfortable, tastefully decorated with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower and The Arc de Triomphe. It was well situated and the Metro was right in front of our door. Our greeters were a tremendous help and made everything seems so effortless. We could not have done it without you. You have all been so helpful and gracious. We found the city as lovely as we imagined; the Metro simple to use and the French people we met... (and we met a lot as we were lost a lot!) charming, patient and most kind. My husband and I will be traveling to Italy in 2 years , hopefully, and will look for your help in finding a place to stay in the Tuscany area. A bientot. Your website does NOT tell you how well-equipped the apartment is....it was a wonderful surprise to be sure but it would have saved us from packing those items had we known.... Why HiP? Haven in Paris is a well run company with experienced and helpful staff who returned your email or call quickly. I cannot express enough how pleased we all were with our choice. We had a great stay. The apartment is in a great location. It's a three minute walk to the Arc de Triumphe and the famous Champs Elysees. The greeter was wonderful! She made sure everything was in good working order. This saved the day because we could not get the wifi to work. She called the French speaking technician who walked her through the trouble shooting process. Within 30 minutes all worked fine and we had no troubles there after. The toilet situation takes a little getting used to but is common for France. In addition, the tiny elevator was claustophobic for my taste but my husband was fine with it. (I walked and enjoyed the exercise) Why HiP? Location. Familiarity with American needs. English fluency. |

The people at HAVEN IN PARIS were so great to work with. They were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We were a group of 6 ladies so you know we were very picky and all of us were pleased with the apartment. It was very well stocked with much more than any hotel room. The beds were all very comfortable,even the sofa bed. We loved having the laptop in the apartment as this allowed us to keep in touch with our families. The balcony was wonderful as well. The entryhall to the building is currently being remodeled and will be better when finished. We did very little in this area, but the metro (just outside the front door )allowed us easy access to all of Paris( it is on the Main # 1 line ). There were many good restaurants in the area, especially right across the street at Le Pre Carre. All in all, we loved the experience. We have never rented a vacation apartment before,and after this we realize that this is the only way to travel. We would definitely rent from HAVEN IN PARIS again and probably this same apartment.I will recommend to friends that are coming to Paris in the future.I wish I was still there. Why HiP? I initially found HIP on VRBO and looked at many companies.I liked that there were 2 king beds in the apt. and the balcony with a view was a big plus. I've been to Paris 2 times before and have always stayed in the 1st ar. It was nice to experience life as a local in a different area and it was great that all 6 of my group could be together instead of in separate hotel rooms. |

The Carnot apartment can only be described with superlatives. After spending five years renting other properties in Paris, this apartment simply outshines every other alternative available. The apartment itself is finished impeccably, the location is unmatched, and the service from the staff at Haven In Paris is gracious and kind. In my opinion, there simply is NO OTHER apartment in Paris that I would choose to rent, as the Carnot apartment will forever be my ideal vision of "home" in Paris. Why HiP? ease of website design, prompt personal attention from staff....it certainly makes ALL the difference to have such a commitment to customer service and satisfaction!!!!! |

The location unbeatable. Located just outside the metro entrance, the view from the balcony was fantastic. The apartment was large enough for the 8 of us and within easy access to shops, restaurants and attractions. Would highly recommend for an outstanding stay in Paris. Why HiP? This superbly located apartment has been renovated wth great style and consideration, contains fabulous furnishings and paintings, and a wealth of amenities. The view from the narrow balcony, particularly of the Eiffel Tower sparkling on the hour at night, is breathtaking. The metro station is outside the front door and from there you can go direct to Disneyland Paris in about 45 minutes. Access to the flat is awkward - not for the infirm or under 5s- there is a rather slippery and undulating wooden staircase and a teeny lift. There are plans to build a more adequate lift in the near future. (OWNER NOTE: NEW LIFT will be completed Dec 2007 Along with a rug in building staircase to prevent slipping) Note that the bathroom arrangement is: There is one bathroom with small tub with shower over and sink actually in the main bedroom. A shower room with sink. A loo with sink and an additional loo in the laundry room. Why HiP? Adequate number of beds! Most of the companies I checked had apartments for 6 featuring 2 queen sized beds! |
