The apartment is elegant with a luxurious feel. The large salons with floor to ceiling windows face the street and provide a bright, airy feeling to the space. The street is very quiet even with the windows open. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and upsale offices. The best croissants are one block away and the local brasserie is welcoming and friendly. Why HiP? Haven in Paris made the renting process easy and they are very professional. Everyone with whom we corresponded was friendly and their responses were directly on point. We had one minor issue upon arrival and it was resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. We would definitely utilize their services again. |

Our stay at the stunning Monceau apartment was exceptional in every way. Having booked a hotel for a previous stay in Paris, we decided to opt for a luxury apartment as our holiday would be a gift to celebrate Russel's parents' 80th birthdays. We are SO glad we did and will never book a Parisian hotel again. Everything was just perfect and our greeter, Mika could not have made us feel more welcome. We used the recommended taxi service from CDG and Laurent was the first person we saw at the terminal gate holding a welcome board with correct spelling. We knew our holiday was off to a flying start and were grateful for his professional driving skills! The apartment is in a gorgeous quiet, location close to Parc Monceau and we enjoyed walks there every day. The apartment itself was the perfect choice for us as we are both designers and the wonderful array of art books and interesting paintings and prints was such a welcome bonus for us. Everything in the apartment exudes luxury and the kitchen is very well equipped. We would not hesitate to recommend Haven in Paris to our friends and family and have also looked at Tuscany to rendezvous with family from Vienna! We especially wanted to be in Paris for The Tour de France finish and our holiday was perfected by the wonderful atmosphere on that sunny Sunday. It was a wonderful holiday thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us. It takes a skilled team to make sure everything appears effortless! |

As for our stay in the Monceau apartment, it exceeded expectations. It is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. Although situated in a wonderfully quiet residential neighborhood, it is within walking distance of all major tourist sites. The "black book" (guide book) was very thorough and enormously helpful. Michel (private driver) is a good choice; he knows how to negotiate traffic jams. His partner Phillipe, also good, drove us back to the airport. Congratulations on your choice of cleaning staff; the apartment was just about immaculate. If we return to Paris, we would definitely rent it again. |

The Monceau apartment was spectacular! We lived in a similar apartment for two years near this one and so it was nice to stay in an apartment with equally high standards. I am an interior decorator and appreciated the tasteful mix of lovely antiques with comfortable beds, linens and furniture. My husband loves to cook and was impressed with the well equipped kitchen. He had everything he needed to make us a fabulous French dinner. The modern conveniences such as the internet and Mac laptop, American refrigerator, washer, dryer, and even a dishwasher were also exceptional. My husband loved the apartment so much he wants to buy it! But I am happy to be renting through the very thorough Haven in Paris. Why HiP? We enjoyed our stay at the Monceau thoroughly and were impressed with the spaciousness and open feel of the apartment as well as with the wonderful decor. One really feels like a Parisian here, even if you don't speak French. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms modern with fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you wanted and more. My two children learned to use the espresso machine so I enjoyed a morning espresso made by them each morning. The greeter was very helpful and walked us to the corner cafe for our morning breakfast after we arrived. The apartment is about ten minutes away from the closest metro which is a pleasant walk through Parc Monceau. There is a supermarket and bakery about five minutes away. Looking forward to coming back one day. Why HiP? We heard about HIP through the Luxe Guide and liked your complete descriptions and many pictures of the apartment so we knew exactly what we were going to get. Also the high quality linens, well equipped kitchen and computer/dvd/tv helped us make our decision. |

Our stay in Paris, and particularly the Monceau property, was absolutely perfect. It was the first time we had rented an apartment in Paris, rather than stay at a hotel, and we were slightly nervous about it. We had no need to be. The apartment was exactly as described and presented on your website. It was fantastic. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable, light-filled, luxurious. We'll never stay in another Paris hotel, that's for sure. Our greeter, Wendy, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She could not have been nicer. David drove us to and from the airport and was also great. On time, helpful - and fun too. We had two laugh-out-loud trips with him as we both (not always succesfully!) conversed in our mangled French/English. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and we thank you for the lovely touch of the bottle of vin rouge to welcome us to Paris. Our only suggestion for the wonderful Haven in Paris team is to keep doing what you're doing. You do it well and you obviously care about what you do. |

We adore Paris and had an absolutely wonderful trip! The apartment was beautiful and perfectly represented by the pictures on your website. So often pictures "inflate" the actual size of the space but this was certainly not the case. The apartment was beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our family of four (my husband, myself and two adult daughters.) The kitchen appliances were all top quality which made starting the morning with a leisurely breakfast most enjoyable. The downy feather comforters and the luxurious bedding contributed to a much needed night's rest at the end of a busy day. Since you have asked for suggestions on possible improvements, the ONLY extra I could possibly think of would be an additonal bed pillow, other than that it was exceptional. We really enjoyed meeting, Marthe, our greeter. She was so friendly and accessible and genuinely willing to assist if needed. We also appreciated her willingness to be flexible with our meeting times. This is our second experience renting an apartment in Paris and while our first experience was also very positive, we would definitely rent through Haven in Paris again and recommend the company to our friends. For us, dealing with a US company simplified the payment process tremendously and the attention to detail and courtesy we received from everyone associated with Haven in Paris would be difficult to top! Why HiP? I would like to compliment Haven in Paris for the excellent, professional service we received from start to finish. From choosing and securing the apartment to checking out at the end of our stay, every aspect was designed with providing the client with the utmost in courteous assistance. |

This trip was a once in a lifetime one, a Mom with her 3 daughters for a week in Paris. As wonderful as Paris is, the apartment is what made this stay far exceeding our expections. The apartment is beautifully furnished, great amenities in the kitchen, baths are wonderful, and located in a wonderful part of the city. We walked to just about everything, and there is a great park just around the corner and great little bakeries and specialities shops, and of course a wonderful restaurant just down the corner from the apartment. I will always choose "Haven" should I get the opportunity to travel to Europe again. Why HiP? A close friend had used Haven a few years ago, and recommended you. Said it was a great stay, and so it was. You all are the BEST |

The virtual staff at Haven in Paris was extremely professional and thanks for patience with our dates/apartment modifications. The apartment was very clean and beautifully appointed.. the pictures didn't do it justice!! Also, The apartment guide was invaluable... I have told all of my friends that Haven in Paris is the way to go. I will probably never book a hotel again. Our greeter Wendy was great on arrival and showed us how to use all of the appliances. Please give our sincere thanks to Victor Limos since there were no taxis available to book in advance on our departure date due to the Petrol strike!!! We want to emphasize the convenience of amenities such as the I-pod docking station and Mac Book (especially a life saver to find directions to things or check e-mails, etc.). |

The apartment was just what we needed! It was in a great location. Having the park just within reach and the Metro nearby was perfect. Mind you, for a family of 6, one cannot rent a car or hire a taxi. So, the Metro was our choice of transportation. (It was great learning experience for our children.) The apartment itself was relaxing. The convenience of the kitchen and the washer and dryer lowered my stress levels. Beautiful, well stocked, ease of appliance use. I could go on and on. Having a laptop available to us with wifi was a plus. Being able to use the phone to call overseas was a pleasant surprise. Wine and flowers made it very welcoming. Wendy was great! She explained everything to us. She was easy to speak with and gave us ideas on what to do, where to go, etc. Just pleasant all in all. I would do everything the same way, if I had to do it over again. And will look at your site for our next trip! Thank you! |

My husband and I celebrated our milestone wedding anniversary in Paris where we renewed our wedding vows. I was somewhat apprehensive the morning of my departure as I was unsure about the apartment I booked. After entering the apartment I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like I never left home. The bathroom, kitchen, family room and just about everything reminds me of my home just a smaller version. I like the place and it is perfect for us. The Apartment has an impressive contemporary design with a stylish base for tradition that enhances our stay in Paris. We enjoyed the excellent location of this property which is within close proximity to subways, markets and just a walk from Arc de Triomphe. The apartment is designed with clean white, decor and features a fully-equipped kitchenette and breakfast nook; amenities include flat screen TV, washing machine and dryer and free Wi-Fi internet access along with access to a computer. Our greeter Wendy was wonderful, along with Andy who transported us to and from the Airport. Thank you Haven in Paris and your wonderful team. Maggie and Wendy. My wife and I and 3 kids rented the Monceau apartment for 4 nights in June 2010. The apartment is gorgeous and comfortable with modern appliances and a great location in the 8th. We're two-time users and likely to be back again in a year or two. Haven offers excellent properties in a variety of locations. Both of our rentals have been charming, comfortable and convenient. Monceau is exceedingly well laid out and equipped to the highest standard. We took full advantage of local attractions and therefore had new experiences we wouldn't otherwise have had. It's also within walking distance or easy Metro connections to most of the main museums, shopping areas and historic sites. |

The property was lovely, spacious and perfect for two girls sans husbands and kids! Monceau is such an elegant space and we loved staying there. We found the location to be ideal for us; even though the Metro was close by, it was more fun to walk through the neighborhood. We also arrived at the more central parts of Paris within 10-15 minutes. Because it is not a top floor apartment, you can hear people walking around upstairs - this is normal, of course,and it didn't bother us because it was never late at night. The only things I would recommend changing are: smaller soaps in the bathroom (it felt wasteful to have an entire brand new bar of soap for so short a stay); and guest slippers would be really nice since it's not something people usually travel with and we were asked to remove our shoes upon entering the apartment (due to the extra dusty streets of Paris). Why HiP? Looking at the extensive photo collections of the properties online made me choose to rent via Haven in Paris. It is apparent the apartments are selected with much care and the reality definitely lived up to our expectations. I will recommend HIP to friends! |

First of all I wanted to comment on the most professional well-organized business that I have dealt with regarding overseas trips, rentals etc. You are top notch. The apartment was perfect in every way. It was so tastefully decorated and had everything that you would need for a weeks stay. The added feature of the phone and the computer made you feel that you were to be trusted and not "nickel and dimed" and it certainly came in very handy. The brochure (book of instructions) was perfectly outlined and made it very easy to operate the equipment and appliances in the apartment. The recommended restaurants were well outlined. We actually went to 4 of those that were The whole process in working with you was so gracious, comfortable, trusting etc. Everything went so smoothly. The driver (Andy) was timely and friendly, Wendy (our greeter) was helpful also. I only wish every European city had a Haven in _____. Thank you for making such a nice trip for us. |

The apartment is beautiful and we certainly have more room than we need for three people. The area is great. We are enjoying it all and thank you for all your follow-ups and concerns. ... Sadly, we are coming to the end of our stay at Monceau. All I can say is that my sister, brother-in-law and I have thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful apartment. It is bright and most elegant. We have, particularly, enjoyed our walks through Parc Monceau each day. The tranquility was noticeable and the gorgeous flowers and trees are lovely. What a bonus to have this on the doorstep. We used Andy, whom you had recommended and he was so courteous and efficient. He was there for us and will collect us again tomorrow, Terrific guy. The delightful Wendy was here to greet us and showed us everything we needed to know about the workings of the apartment. We couldn't figure out how to open the washing machine door and one 'phone call to her corrected that in an instant. She walked us through it over the 'phone. What a gracious lady. I wish we could have had more time to chat with her. We had a fair few rain showers but you even provided umbrellas for us. You thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable in every way. Your efficient and professional attention to every detail is remarkable and there is no doubt that we would never stay in a hotel again, now that we have found you !! Four single females who planned a Paris trip for over a year and were impressed with our accomodations at the Monceau Apartment. The apartment was spacious, and well equipped and clean. The greeter was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The Metro station was less than a five minute walk through the Monceau Park. Little grocery stores, wine stores, cafes and markets were less than five minutes walk from apartment. All of us LOVED our accomodations at the Monceau Apartment......WE WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN AND HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS APARTMENT TO OTHERS!!!!! |

The Monceau apartment is a large, very comfortable apartment, well-equipped. Wendy, our greeter/facilitator, was cheerful and responsive. We found the location a mixed experience - quiet, and the park is lovely, but we have found St. Germain or Quai Horloge locations on balance better, as Monceau is a bit too far for convenient walking to many locations. |

The Monceau apartment is a beautiful and very comfortable apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. Local shopping for groceries is excellent. Access to the metro is easy and the Champs Elysees is a 15 minute walk. Our greeter, Wendy, was excellent and made sure we were familiar with all aspects of the apartment. The HIP team also helped out with a last minute request for a woman to show my two daughters around Paris while I attended work commitments. Why HiP? The apartment was lovely and our greeter, Wendy very sweet and helpful. We enjoyed returning to the apt. after a long day and being able to spread out, use the internet, etc. I will definitely recommend your company to friends I know who travel. We had a wonderful time in Paris. Our Haven in Paris at Monceau was perfect. The apartment is just as shown on your site but even more lovely. How wonderful to open the windows and be part of life in Monceau. I must admit we didn't use the stove, we ate out at a huge variety of places and if not going out we shopped at our local market for cheese, prosciutto fruit and baguette. We hope to travel next year so we will use your Haven in Paris site. Our driver David was great, on time and dealing with luggage, delivering it to the apartment and then taking it back down when we left. We would certainly use him again. We were very pleased with the Monceau rental. The reservation contacts via email and greeter in Paris were all friendly, polite, and very professional. Communication and arrangements were all done in a timely manner. The unit itself was spacious, very comfortable, and is able to easily accommodate up to 6 people. It was a quiet building so is great for those who may be light sleepers and was in a very safe, conveniently-located neighborhood. The induction stove, convection oven and washer and dryer were a huge hit for us too. Why HiP? We appreciated the nice pics and easy-to-navigate website. |

Really loved dealing with the HIP team particularly in contrast with the agency we dealt with in renting a Villa in the South of France before we arrived in Paris! Once we had sorted out the Euro v US$ problem everything was extremely smooth, friendly and attentive. The system for the bond to cover any damage is also much better than the other agency who charge your credit card in advance and you then have to wait until 14 days after the end of rental to receive your credit which means they have you money for at least 6 weeks - unacceptable! Th apartment was exactly as it looked on line. In beautiful condition and everything worked!! Location perfect and full of sunlight what more could you ask for! Why HiP? We had seen the property advertised in the Antique Shop of the owner in Sydney and they put us on to HIP but we are now a firm fan and will definitely use this service again for either the same apartment or if unavailable for a different one through you. Have also told a number of friends about your company and recommended that they use it! ! |

The apartment was beautiful and was well appointed. The location was lovely - in a quite neighborhood near Parc Monceau, but only a five minute walk from the Monceau Metro stop. Like many of you checking out this web-page, my wife and I decided that a Hotel was not for us during our 1 week stay in Paris (Apr 19-26), so we began the various searches you are doing now, to find a suitable apartment that would accomodate the 5 of us, and stay within our budget at the same time. After many weeks of deliberation, we decided on the Monceau property with the Haven-in-Paris team, and were extremely pleased with our selection. The apartment is exactly as shown, and was a beautiful retreat to the end of each day. Located in the la-de-da area of Park Monceau, you are a short walk to the Metro and have all the amenities you will need within 3 minutes of the apartment. The service of Erica and her team were suburb and the smooth booking process via email and charge card, was exactly what we were looking for. Our greeter (Wendy) was a great source of information and went out of her way to make sure all our needs were attended to. Not shown in the pictures is the lobby and the charming elevator you make use of, which makes you feel like a true Parisian every day as you are coming and going. When we return, and we will return, we will not need to do any new searching. We will just see what units Erica has available, and book with the Haven team again. Why HiP? Why did we choose H.I.P.? #1 = You have an extremely good website. Great Navigation, lots of pictures, slideshows, email links, maps, etc, etc. The person who designed it and maintains it, should be commended. #2 = You provide booking via a charge card, and while there were other properties that interested us from other rentors, many of them had the requirement of wiring money to a bank account in France, which I was not comfortable with. #3 - BBB. Not only mentioned on your website,but of course I confirmed you as a member since 03/97 with 2 excellent ratings and no complaints. (3 excellents now by the way, as I just posted there as well) #4 - The tips you provided on your website were very useful, and even before we landed in Paris, I realized if you put this much detail into helping people enjoy their stay before they arrived, I had no concerns about what support we might receive when we arrived. Ooooh la la! The best Paris apartment ever. Beautifully furnished. Every last detail is remembered to make living in this apartment a delight. The bed is very comfortable. Two spacious bright bathrooms. Gorgeous hardwood floors. Comfortable seating. The kitchen is modern and so easy to use. Perfect for keeping some wine and cheese on hand or cooking a seven course meal. It's all possible. Everything we could have wanted to do or see was close by. Walking to the major attractions is about 30 - 40 minutes with lots to see and shop for along the way. We walked a lot and found the apartment to be very convenient for everything that we wanted to do and see. There are three Metro stations close if you need to get there faster. There are quaint restaurants very close by and if you choose to stay in and cook a grocery store, pastry shop, cheese shop and butcher are just a block away. The wireless internet was a real plus and being able to phone home to the US was certainly unexpected and such a nice bonus. Wendy, our greeter, was very nice and very helpful with how everything in the apartment worked. She even went out of her way on the initial meeting to show us where the grocery store was as well as helped us find an ATM. She is delightful.We would highly recommend this property, in fact it would be hard to stay any place else in Paris after staying here. Why HiP? Ok, was that too "gushy"? We really did love it! We chose to rent from you because your properties were beautifully presented on the www and the email communication was easy and follow up calls were most helpful. (Even when we were so busy with end of year stuff at work and home). We also appreciated all of the insight into the area and the city that you provided.
